[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went with the LG solely because of the positive consumer report reviews. I subsequently learned my brother has had an LG washing machine probably 10 - 15 years. He seems to be really pleased with his LG washer. Here is my personal assessment. The washing machine is extremely noisy and sounds like a jet engine at times in different cycles and significantly harder on the clothes compared to a different brand front load washer we had probably 15 years. We like how the tub is made to allow the water to drain. We use powder detergent to avoid mold issues associated with front loads. The pedestals are sturdy; however cosmetically, there is a one inch separation between pedestal and washer on sides which collects dust and is very unappealing. The one inch separation was not readily visible on photos on LG's website. With the pedestals, the washing machine is the perfect height for me at 5"4'. The front instrument panel regarding number of spin cycles etc on the right are hard to read and not intuitive for older people. The instructions for the wifi settings were not clear, especially deciphering what the password should be. The turbo jets seem to be a nice feature. The 15 minute wash is a very nice option. The color of the washer is awesome. The wash cycles are very reasonable. Although the color is nice and its cool to have the latest technology, I am highly disappointed about the noise and how the washer is harder on clothes than my previous brand.

I couldn’t figure figure out how to get tap cold water when using the Normal cycle. When calling LG the first girl cut me off and the second set me up for an appliance visit. They came out an acted like I was stupid and should have known that you just go to another cycle and then back to RE SET to change the program. It doesn’t say anything about that in the owner’s manual.

I’ve had no problems with the machine since I bought it. Coupled with the matching dryer. Works perfectly and cleans my clothes better than any other machine I’ve ever had.

ULTRA LARGE CAPACITY SMART WI-FI ENABLED FRONT LOAD WASHER WITH TURBOWASH 360 AND BUILT-IN INTELLIGENCE almost 2 months ago and my clothes have never been cleaner. I can load it up with clothes and the Turbowash ensures that each piece of laundry comes out washed perfectly. I have tried out the bedding setting with multiple dog beds and it works great. The only problem I have had was when I mixed sheets with a heavy blanket. The water logged blanket would unbalance the washer. Spinning the blanket separately solved the problem though. All in all the is a great washer. I will be trying out the other settings as the year goes on.

This washer does a GREAT job cleaning cloths and is very energy efficient. I also love the fact that it has WIFI and notifies you when the wash has completed if you are away. The thing that I would like to see is a volume control to increase the sound for the signal when the wash has completed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching several major brands I purchased this based on all the features vs the cost compared all the other washers out there. I own several LG products a few I have had for over 10 years and never had any problems, reliability was a big deal for what I was paying. This washer has a lot of features and pretty much handle any type of load you need to wash, if you suffer from allergies they have a allergy setting for that and it has made a big difference. One feature I really like is the turbo wash, if you in a bit of a hurry and need to wash a couple of items it's done in 15 minutes and ready for the dryer. The intelligence feature is great just for the fact that your kids can throw in their clothes and hit start, no more hearing MOM what do I set this on. The clothes do come out much cleaner than my old HE top load washer. Last thing LG's customer satisfaction is one of the highest on the market these days and I have never had any problems with any of my LG products.

Had an old noisy front loader. My LG is so quiet and cleans so much better. The high speed spin almost dries clothes. There are lots of features, but selecting a cycle is as easy as turning the knob and letting artificial intelligence make the choices..

Also, in both homes, we have limited depth space, and this washer/dryer set is the most minimal depth space one we could find that was still full size and heavy duty. It's a pleasure to do laundry with it!
