[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from a 15-year-old frontload washer and dryer. They’ve really advanced since then. A special unknown feature is that the door can almost fully without locking. That helps air out and stay clean which was always one of the problems. So the door looks closed but it isn’t and doesn’t get in the way of anybody. It also has a turbo wash which is default. I can get a regular load done in 35 minutes. That’s amazing.

I purchased this washer a month ago. This is my second LG Front Loading Washing Machine, and I am really happy with it. In my family of 6 I can finish all my laundry within one day and the the alert sent to my phone when the cycle is complete is so helpful. I love the energy efficient settings and how clean my clothes are when the cycle is finished.

Our other appliances are all black but we had to settle for black steel which is dark gray. The glass doors help it blend in and are a quality touch. Washer works great and is very fast. 29 min for a load and uses very little water. Huge capacity. Lots of settings. Requires phone app to access online features and add settings even though is wifi enabled.This washer requires Hammer arrestors to be installed on your water pipes-this should be told up front, and is my main complaint. The violent on and off shakes the pipes. The clothes stick to the drum when finished and you have to peel them off. The washer sticks out a bit further into the room than the Frigidaire it replaced, partly because the drum is larger but there is also a large gap at the top/wall that is a clothes trap for things to fall behind. The Frigidaire had a "shelf" that stuck out above the hoses and was close to the wall. The side handles are a great idea to help move and position washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer does a great job on the cleaning of the clothes. The biggest issue is learning how to use the best features of the washer. Technology of the washer is great but it does take time to learn how best to use the features.

When the washing machine decided its life had come to an end, I made the decision to replace both as I wanted a matching pair. After considerable research, I decided the LG washer and dryer had all the features that I wanted and some that I was surprised even existed. Going from 15 year old machines to new state-of-art was quite an adventure. I kept my owners manual in my laundry room so I could make sure I did not miss any features that would be a time saver for me. I think I have tried most, and have been amazed at the efficiency. My clothes are so clean and don't require so much drying time as the washer removes of the water. And the Steam Cycle on the dryer - you would not believe the ironing I have eliminated. The ladies at work are amazed when I relate this feature. As you can tell, I am so very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this washer for about 3 weeks. So far, I am generally happy with it. I miss some features from my old machine like a light in the washer and the ability to control some cycles more easily. I also miss the hand wash feature.

I had to use my neighbors washer while mine was broken and fell in love with how clean our clothes came out. My husband even commented on the difference in his work clothes I actually wanted to haul my laundry to and from my neighbors even when my washer was fixed. I finally bought my own and we love how clean our clothes get and how intelligent this machine is. I expect to have this for a LONG time.
