[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised at how the technology of cleaning clothes has grown since I last bought a washer/dryer, maybe 15 years ago. I actually look forward to doing laundry now. Here are just a few of the very useful features: 1. The Thin Q app provides many additional wash cycles to choose from. The nice part about this is you don't have to remember a bunch of settings, nay. I just need to ask myself what I am washing and pick the cycle for that load. In other words, Baby Clothes? Beachwear?, Delicate Dresses? Hand Wash/Wool? These and more are cycles you can download and run... All settings optimized. Even a house husband like me can figure this out. Another cool feature is my washer is linked to my dryer and it instructs my dryer on what is on its way AND how to dry it. How cool is that? I am so glad my old machine broke down. There is no comparison in the quality of cleaning. It's also eco-friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the front loading washing machine now for a couple of months and have been very pleased with it's performance. The only issue I do have is that the screen where you can make changes does not light up enough and it is difficult to see your choices. I do like the little tune that plays when your wash is done.

My new LG is a refreshing upgrade from my previous set. We’d began to have issues with old set. It fits perfectly and saves a lot of space. It’s a little noisier than previous set. It doesn’t use unnecessary water or energy. I think we made a hood choice.

Several loads into our new LG washing maching we could't be happier. It is simple to use and is also very sufisticated. The closes come out clean, smelling fresh and ready for the dryer. It's a nice experience to has a product that does what LG said it would do.

We are very pleased with the washer. It is much quieter than our old washer, and although it reaches high spin speeds, remains stable without movement throughout the cycle. The end-of-cycle tune is cute and a nice alternative to a loud buzzer. Instructions were clear and helpful

I had to use my neighbors washer while mine was broken and fell in love with how clean our clothes came out. My husband even commented on the difference in his work clothes I actually wanted to haul my laundry to and from my neighbors even when my washer was fixed. I finally bought my own and we love how clean our clothes get and how intelligent this machine is. I expect to have this for a LONG time.

Installation of vent through the floor could be made easier if a template were provided to position where the hole should be cut through the floor to line up with machine through the floor vent kit. There should be a way to clean the lint piping internal to the dryer from the front. Just cleaning the lint screen isn’t enough over time. One should not have to pull the dryer away from the wall to clean the internal vent piping.

The washer works well, but a big negative is that “normal” and “heavy” settings, the two I would use most, are only in Turbo mode and this can’t be turned off. I contacted LG and they verified this, and said it seems odd that it was designed that way. My solution was to download one of the programmed washes and use that. I wish the programmed cycles were customized though, as the one I chose (Econowash) uses cold water and I wish I could change the program to warm. Yes I can change it once I select that mode, but that defeats the ease of the downloaded cycle. I do like how the washer senses the size of the load and adjusts accordingly. Also wish there was a waterproof cycle for raincoats and things. Also wish goads door was not so dark, can’t see in it as it washes to check on suds level to make sure I’m not using too much or too little detergent.

Terrible experience with Sam's Club. It took 3 different appointments and delivery crews to deliver and install this washer and dryer. Once it was finally installed, it was installed incorrectly which resulted in extensive water damage to my home. The water lines were not attached properly which caused a large amount of water to spray uncontrolled throughout the room. It was so much water that it leaked through the floor and through the ceiling into the room beneath the washer and dryer. Now I still don't have the washer and dryer installed and have to contend with extensive water damage and insurance claims.
