I upgraded to this washer and I can’t stop smiling whenever it is laundry day. The clothes do not get soaked and I am notified when it is done. I love the AI technology to decipher how long the load needs to be in the wash. I love it!!

It fits on the old pedistal which has the screw+adhesive side plates, but a new set of side plates and screws is required. The current pedistal design has screw attachements that do not require the side plates. One potential improvement: It would be helpful to have a volume adjustment on the tone which signals the end of the cycle. The wireless notification is only useful if the phone is not on silent..., which ours is much of the time.

I usually have a lot of confidence in LG products. Have LG products in one of our properties and all have been reliable and lasted a long time. I received this washer yesterday. The tub smelled strongly of chemicals. Had to do about 5 loads before the chemical smell dissipated. Seems to get the clothes really clean though and gets out stains. The washer is no quiet at all. Really disappointed about that. Noisier than our old one.

I've only had this washing machine for two weeks and I couldn't be happier. It truly washes our clothes better than ever. My husband's greasy work shirts came out so clean I couldn't believe my eyes! It has an endless variety of choices so that no matter what kind of load you chose, your clothes will come out amazingly clean. I had many loads to catch up on when the washing machine was installed. It uses very little water and detergent and is super quiet too! On some cycles the clothes are spun extremely well. Of course, the gray looks so snazzy! I just love my new LG washing machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A replacement for our overworked 10 year old that needed costly repairs. Cyclea cycles shorter run times, yea! It does have an industrial sounding motor which is a bit concerning, so we're monitoring that. Otherwise happy with our replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old top loader was just not doing it's job anymore. Spin cycle left clothes sopping wet. This new front loader does an excellent job on wash AND spin. An added feature is the wifi which alerts your phone when the cycle is finished. No more running to basement to check on cycle only to find it's not. It even gives a 5 minute heads up (can be turned off). Would I buy again? YES! In a heartbeat.

It is quiet, it is fast it is effortless to use and I love the maintenance reminders and the ability to download custom wash cycles. This really is a great machine and worth every penny.

We are very happy with this washer, especially the fact that it is almost a set it and forget it. No more waiting for the rinse cycle to add fabric softener. Great product. Thank you LG. We also bought the matching dryer in order to stack both.

I've had this machine for 7 weeks. It washes very well, is reasonably quiet, and uses very little detergent. I'm using about 3/4 of a tablespoon on most loads to keep the suds down. Initially there was a strong chemical smell but that has finally dissipated. I always leave the door and the detergent drawer open when the machine is not is use. It replaces a similar LG that was 12 years old and failing.
