[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised at how the technology of cleaning clothes has grown since I last bought a washer/dryer, maybe 15 years ago. I actually look forward to doing laundry now. Here are just a few of the very useful features: 1. The Thin Q app provides many additional wash cycles to choose from. The nice part about this is you don't have to remember a bunch of settings, nay. I just need to ask myself what I am washing and pick the cycle for that load. In other words, Baby Clothes? Beachwear?, Delicate Dresses? Hand Wash/Wool? These and more are cycles you can download and run... All settings optimized. Even a house husband like me can figure this out. Another cool feature is my washer is linked to my dryer and it instructs my dryer on what is on its way AND how to dry it. How cool is that? I am so glad my old machine broke down. There is no comparison in the quality of cleaning. It's also eco-friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using for a month and it’s really easy to use. Bought the washer dryer pair together. Washer and dryer settings are great. Wash time decreases automatically if a small load. Dryer tells you if the vent is clogged so it doesn’t burn out the heat element. Very happy so far.

We have really enjoyed our LG washer now for a year. It washes clothes well and does an excellent job of spinning out the water, making drying easier. Recently, when using normal or heavy duty mode, it defaults to "turbo wash" and there is no way I can turn it off. When I use other modes, the turbo wash does not come on, even with the same load. It seems that the washer weighs what I have put in and if it is not "heavy enough" then the turbo wash kicks in and I can't get it to turn off! The machine has a mind of its own and will not listen to my direction. It seems that this just started in the last 3 months, probably related to a software update. I love everything about this washer, except for when it does not listen to me. It reminds me of the SciFi films when machines take over and mankind is doomed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works well however LG seems to be going on the cheap by not including a light inside the washer when you open the door. Also no lighting in the display panel makes it difficult to read the settings you desire if you store the machine in an area that has low external lighting.

The quick wash with an extra rinse does well on quite a few of our loads. I had heard good things about LG's washers from some of my co-workers so we opted to try one when our 11yr old unit disintegrated. We have a large family, so it will get a lot of use. It will be interesting to see how it holds up. The only thing that we wish it had that we miss from our old unit is that it doesn't give an ETA when selecting most cycles. It needs to go through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this a few weeks and no complaints. I’ve always hated laundry because I would often get side tracked and forget about it. Having the alerts on my phone telling me the load time left or when it is finished has been great. It did take several loads to get the hang of the controls. I can tell a difference in our laundry compared to our old unit. Definitely pleased with our decision.

I couldn't be any happier with this LG.. They've integrated more tech than you could ever imagine. All with out loosing sight of what it truly is, a washing machine.. It's very simple and easy to use, especially with the app. At first a person may shudder at the cost, but the versatility of this machine is well worth it. Not only does it perform better than a traditional top loader, but it'll also steam, santize, refresh and control allergens.. If that's not awesome enough, there's a total of 27 different wash cycles to guarantee garment cleaning perfection. Now I can forever reign supreme in my home as the laundry king.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer and matching dryer were upgrades to a pair of front-loaders that were 15 years old and no longer operating in an ideal fashion. I was going to choose the 9000 series Signature pair but our laundry room doesn't have enough space to fit larger machines. As it is with the 4000 series, we now have larger total capacity in frames that are the same size as the outgoing old pair. Washing performance is excellent. At first we thought the washer wasn't actually saturating or soaking some clothes because after spin, some articles were almost completely dry. It far exceeds the performance of the old machine, including with athletic wear (non-cotton shirts, for example) and the body odor or sweat smells being locked into the fabric - this does not happen with our new washer. The Turbo feature is pretty cool, allowing for a much shorter wash cycle with no decrease in performance. The tub and detergent drawers seem mold resistant and anything but flimsy, and having a tub clean reminder and special cycle is a big bonus. Along with the matching dryer, this washer has problems with presets and customizability. I would like to be able to change the water temp, spin speed, addition of steam, etc., and most of the presets do not allow this. It is most frustrating since almost all clothes and sheets now do not recommend anything over cold/warm water, or in the case of drying, anything over low heat. For LG to lock their presets into only certain water temps, or certain heat levels in the dryer, greatly reduces the usefulness and value of the presets on both machines. Overall, a huge upgrade to 15-year-old front loader technology, and a high-quality machine, for sure. I just wish I could do more of what I want on any given preset or cycle setting.
