I've only had the washer a little over a week and have probably already done 20 loads. Interesting, I am informed of the number of loads, the settings I choose, and most of all, time to run the tub clean cycle which I did yesterday. So far I love the machine. I had a 2 year old top loader without an agitator and that was a total nightmare. It was off balance so often, then I decided to junk it and purchased the front load LG. I have had a front loader before and really liked it. I love this one and I love the Wi-fi, the whatever intelligence, and it so far cleans quite well. Check back later, that is the true test.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer on May 25 and it was delivered June 2. This is my 3rd washer in 9 months. The other 2 died within 8 weeks of use. Really!! I researched the reviews and consumer reports before purchase. I love the turbo wash cycle. It cleans my clothes in 30 minutes or less.(better than the Laundromat)....and the machine is QUIET. It is easy to use and the pedestal makes this washer the perfect height.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new washer! This LG washing machine replaced an old Kenemore that was on it's last leg. I am very happy with the load capacity. It tackles a full weeks worth of clothes for both daughters in one load and we've even successfully washed our king comforter. The load options are easy to choose and also make your own. We tend to wash our items in cold water more often, so we switch it to "normal" and then manually click the water temp button. I've also been able to hit the pause button and throw items in that I missed when I started the load. This is usually within 5 minutes of starting the load. I was leary about front load washers because of the mold horror stories, so I decided to be more proactive and I leave a hand towel in my bin of laundry products to wipe down the rubber casket and door when I am done with my final load of the day. I have worked this machine endlessly for the past 4 weeks and have noticed only one thing that makes me leary and it is the amount of water that is left in the detergent reservoir after the load is done. It's not a lot, but enough to dump several drips out to ensure there's no water just hanging around. If you're not overwhelmed by options, I would totally recommend this washer (dryer set). It's easy to figure out, but I feel like it might overwhelm my mother in-law, who still specifically requests a flip phone when she needs a new cell phone!

I really like my dryer, this was a splurge for me and I’m so glad I bought it. My clothes come out nice and dry and soft. I also like that I can change settings according to my needs.my dryer is on a pedestal so I do not have to bend over and to get my clothes out.

Installation of vent through the floor could be made easier if a template were provided to position where the hole should be cut through the floor to line up with machine through the floor vent kit. There should be a way to clean the lint piping internal to the dryer from the front. Just cleaning the lint screen isn’t enough over time. One should not have to pull the dryer away from the wall to clean the internal vent piping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a month ago. The seal on it is leaking. I went through LG support and they contacted a service provider to repair it. The seal part is back ordered and no one knows when it will be available, rendering my brand new washer unusable for an undetermined amount of time. Very frustrating.

My washer is in the basement so getting a notification that a load is done saves me so much time and also saves me money and energy as I'm not rewashing all the time! All my clothes, including cloth diapers, come out so clean!

We bought this last month. Except for a marginally useful manual and some poor functional design decisions, it is working fine. The manual, including the longer online version, is not well written. For instance, the description of the available wash cycles is not particularly informative. For each wash cycle it just gives a table that lists the detail settings which you can already see on the front panel. It doesn't tell you how it does the actual cycle (like agitation characteristics, etc.). Also, the online manual mentions cycle selections which don't seem to be available on the front panel (like Waterproof, Bulky/Large, and Jumbo). We wanted to wash some waterproof items but didn't know how to do that since Waterproof is not an available cycle selection and the manual fails to list what the characteristics of a Waterproof cycle are. I checked the available Downloadable cycles (using the app) but Waterproof is not one of the available options. Also, the ability to download only a single cycle seems like an unreasonable restrictive design decision on the part of LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine works well. The big, low tub makes it quite a challenge to get clothes out at the end of a cycle. I have long arms and find it difficult. I am sure it is even more challenging for someone who is short. I had quite a time getting access to and downloading the operator's manual. I am still unclear whether the machine adjusts the amount of water for the size of the load?
