It was love at first sight, and I liked it so much that I purchased another one for my permanent home. The features are very convenient, giving the user many options when washing and drying. The steam feature. Is a great addition. I would never purchase any other brand but LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had the WM4000HWA a few weeks, but so far it is quiet, efficient, does a good job cleaning the laundry, and lets us know when the wash cycle is done, even if we aren't at home, via the LG ThinQ app.

It not only was an amazing washing machine, we had no maintenance problems the entire time. When we did have an issue we decided after 15 years of doing laundry for a family of 8, it was time for a new washer. The new washer is a bit of a learning curve after having a reliable product for so many years. Been pretty happy with the new washer so far, although, I still miss my old machine. These things take time.

I purchased this washer a month ago and I have been so happy with it. I love the Turbo Wash feature and the steam. After the spin cycle is finished it does not take long to dry the clothes especially with the companion dryer. So glad we spent a little more even though I resisted it at first. The capacity of the drum is awesome and I can do my laundry in less loads. I do not know yet how to use the Wi-Fi option but I will learn soon. My only complaint is I did not receive a manual with my washer but I did on my dryer. I will be contacting LG to obtain one as the store I purchased it from was not helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally LG products are reliable. However, my washer started to make a terrible noise on the spin cycles. The noise was so bad that my cats were howling and found a place to hide. Although, I have to say that LG customer service dispatched a technician to troubleshoot the problem. The drum drive bearing froze. I needed a new drum with a new bearing and electrical stator. Th LG Technician had it working in a few hours once the parts came in. The technician stated that this type of problem was virtually unheard of especially on a new machine. After two weeks without a washer all is well now. I especially like the large drum. It can hold and wash large items like blankets and small throw rugs. This washer replaced an over ten-year LG washer with direct drive. The old washer experienced the same bearing issue as my new machine, and it would not be economical to repair given the age of the washer. My LG dryer is also over ten years old and still dying away. I'll replace it when needed--in another ten years or so. Overall, the problem was a fluke and have the highest confidence in LG products.

Performance is excellent 5 days later I purchased an LG OLED 65 inch tv. Just set it up. Has a beautiful picture. Just like the washer I’m still getting used to product operation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer on June 2nd, connected it to my wifi, (glad I did!) After using it twice, I received an alert that my water lines were connected backwards, I hooked them up exactly as they were on my previous washer, had no idea I was running cold into hot, and hot into cold, plus the fact that they were that way on my old washer for several years. Thankyou! LG the wifi technology and the washer self diagnosing an issue is incredible. Thanks again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family is extremely satisfied with the washer and dryer. They are both extremely easy to use the programs available with the LG app. The app is a must to take advantage of all the available features provided to you by LG.

I can wash a lot more towelry at once, an big improvement from my old washer. Functions well; seems to use the right amount of water (enough). Love the exra-rinse setting, for those times when I use a lot of detergent. I have no interest in the WiFi connection. Wishes for improvement: - would like to be able to turn of the WiFi signal. It's annoying, takes up WiFi bandwidth from my computer setup. - would like a backlight for the display. I had to put an extra light across from the washer/dryer in order to read the displays.
