[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our previous LG washer for years and it was extremely reliable, so naturally we wanted to go with LG once again. And we are not disappointed, its works perfectly and it is much quieter than our previous washer. Love the Bluetooth and app features, I will never forget that I have clothes in the washer again with the push notifications that are send to my phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like: This machine cleans really well. It spins the clothes quite dry. FIVE STARS for this. What I don't like: (1) The User Interface on this machine is horrid. Turn it on and lights flash around the cycle dial.Distracting, useless 'feature'. The light stops on 'normal' cycle. But then you have to click it once to activate that cycle. And, you must SLOWLY turn it to switch between cycles. Push buttons would be better, faster and more functional for someone doing several loads of laundry. ONE STAR (or ZERO) (2) Downloadable wash cycles. ONE cycle. Only one. And you cannot change the installed cycle programs. Default water temp on Perm Press, Normal, other cycles seesm to be either Cold or Warm. Never tap cold. So I was going to log in and reconfigure the standard cycles to all start at Tap Cold. Not possible. ZERO STARS. This 'feature' is useless. (3) Delay option: I like this. Would like to be able to set for 15 minutes or 30 minutes. Not possible. Only sets at whole hours. Also, not programmable. TWO STARS. (4) No 'soak' cycle. Yes, I can do this by setting a wash cycle, then stopping the machine for a while before rinse. Having 'soak' cycle would not require manual intervention. Also, 'soak' is not a downloadable option. ZERO STARS. (5) The panel on the right for selecting options is hard to read - get rid of the flashing lights on cycle selection knob and backlight the option selection panel. ONE STAR.

It is not noisy and even though programs seems to be longer than the old one (old, old washer), it's far most efficient a versatile. I love the App telling me proactively when to clean the tube or the overall sanity check it does. Very helpful !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had of before. Great. Sold my units with my house. Had to buy a new set. Got this pair. Clothes are war hot when done. Washing in cop or tap water no steam. Tried everything. Glasses steamed up when opening door. Top of unit was warm after three loads of testing it. Got a replacement unit and it seems the same. What can I be doing wrong?

The WM4000HBA uses less water and detergent than our previous model, always a plus. Our toddler produces some terrific stains on her clothes, and this LG unit conquers them all! We are still learning the various features of the model, but we can say without a doubt that this is a fantastic product that is well worth the purchase price!

I had a previous LG front load washer that was still going strong after 15 years when we sold the house. After moving into a rental with a top load Whirlpool with agitator plate - I was shocked how terrible it was at washing clothes. The clothes never felt, looked or smelled clean. I Purchased this LG WM4000 front load washer during Labor Day sale and it was delivered & set up within a few days. Ordering was all done online and was a smooth and easy process. This new machine is amazing. Everything comes out CLEAN again!!! Plus it fits my quilts and blankets with ease and they turn out great!! I can't tell you what a difference it is over that horrible top load from Whirlpool. As an FYI - I always wash with warm or hot water with small amount of powdered detergent & Borax. Never had a problem in 15 years with my previous front loader from LG with mold/mildew or smells - I always wiped down inside rubber seal and kept door ajar for drying. Also always removed clothes promptly when done for drying. You will never have a problem if you do this. I highly recommend this LG front load washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the WM4000HWA washer to replace a Maytag that had failed. I didn't expect this to be such an upgrade but it was. Although, I only have been using it for a short 2 weeks, it has been amazing. The turbo mode is a must have, the cycle is literally minutes, it leave the clothes clean and dry. This is my first LG but won't be my last. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate, this machine is spectacular.

I did extensive research before purchasing and went with this model because of the great reviews. That was a mistake. I have had the washer for less than a month. The clothes are soaking wet at the end of the cycle. I have to run a separate spin cycle after every load and they are still too wet to put in the dryer. Often times there is standing water in the bottom of of tub. The unit was professionally installed less than a month ago so I do not believe it is an issue with the drain hose. I have followed all of the trouble shooting steps and the issue persists. I do like the app and some of the features, but I regret not sticking with the brand I used to own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace my 6 year old Samsung set which was having drum and timing issues. I knew I wanted a reliable brand, but was in between LG and GE. After doing months of research, I decided to go with the LG. It’s slimmer and more modern than the GE model I was considering. When they came to install the set, the installer could not say enough good things about the set which made me more comfortable with my decision. Excitedly I put load, after load, after load in the washer and was impressed with its performance. Not only did my clothes look cleaner, the washer is considerably more quite than my last one. Even with the laundry door open and the washer going, I can barely hear it running (I live in a small, apartment). I have not used all of the features, but the bright white and sanitize cycles have amazed me. Sturdy, nice looking and well performing, I’m happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although it runs very quietly and seems to be well made, it is tearing up my clothes. The steam will ruin any elastic in clothes. The normal cycle eats them up. I have to wash all my clothes on bedding or delicate settings in which the machine stops to soak the clothes as part of the wash to keep them from being ate up hopefully. They do not get rinsed and I have to take them out and rinse in two 5 gallon buckets full of water and put them back in to "rinse" and spin them. The machine adds water a little at a time because it weighs the clothes and by the time it is finished it's time to empty the machine! I wish so much I knew this before I bought it. I am so sorry for this bad review but I am trying to keep others from making the same mistake. I have had other LG products that are great and this washer is well made but it is a big mistake.
