The printed manual is limited and when I have a question I have to look for the QR code and download the info on my phone, which is hard to read. Wish it had printed info regarding USING the machine - the settings, what to use for what type of wash etc. The one page info sheet doesn't have any useful info. Also I never know how long it will run before turning it on. Can't adjust by time. Sometimes a small load will run almost an hour and a large load under 30 minutes. The setting are for different kinds of fabrics but the machine is huge and we don't have that much laundry. Silly to run a separate load for a few towels and then wash my clothes separately too. I combine them but am never sure what setting to use. But it works and plays a cute melody at the end.

Easy to use, easy to select functions, quiet, and really seems to NOT abuse the clothes we wash, and gets them nice and clean. Sad we couldn't get it to open to the other side like we could with the matching dryer, but it's not a big deal. The real test is Time, hope they last

I never realized how difficult it was to run a household without a washer. I am very pleased with the LG model WM4000HWA. I have not had any problems with operating it. The clothes come out clean and the machine is quiet.

The fact that they are both so big and yet small enough to fit in our extremely small laundry room made this a easy selection. Both are replacing 15 year old Kenmore Elite machines. Love the LG ThinQ smart phone features

A leak was discovered quickly and parts were ordered; however the repair was delayed for another 4 weeks. Turns out the warranty period starts at the time of payment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from a 15-year-old frontload washer and dryer. They’ve really advanced since then. A special unknown feature is that the door can almost fully without locking. That helps air out and stay clean which was always one of the problems. So the door looks closed but it isn’t and doesn’t get in the way of anybody. It also has a turbo wash which is default. I can get a regular load done in 35 minutes. That’s amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the LG WM4000HBA smart washer when our Kenmore could not be repaired due to aging out of replacement parts. We are very satisfied with the washer thus far. I guess my only confusion is with a steam option that runs at cycle’s end even when using cold water wash option. You can tell the clothing is cool to touch after a couple of minutes but it still seems counter productive. Otherwise, we are happy with our choice.

It has a great selection of modes, and while we normally will use only 2 or 3 of them on a regular basis, it is nice to have the others available for special needs. We also bought a pedestal with it, which my wife loves since she doesn't have to bend down to get clothes out or verify that nothing was left in it. Great product.
