We bought this washer to replace the one we had that kept breaking down on us. We researched and narrowed it down to this one. I am so far very happy with the performance of this machine. We have only had it for about a month and we are still learning all of the features.

It get my clothes much cleaner than my previous machine and is very easy to operate. I did have to buy the pedestal to raise it up for easier loading and unloading. I am very pleased with this washing machine

The washer is a little loud and the dryer often needs to be run for a bit longer manually to get the others dry - but otherwise I've liked them a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer/ dryer set to replace a like LG pair that we had for many years. This model washer is similar to the old but has new upgraded features that we really like. We like that it checks the load and determines the wash cycle timing based off that. It uses even less detergent than the old model. It is very efficient and it is quiet and quite vibration free.

The clothes feel and seem cleaner than previous machines and dryer is great to, does its job in one cycle. Our old dryer took at least 2 full cycles and still the clothes came out a little damp. These new machines are a good purchase.

Washer was purchased in December 2020. A sensor that is attached to the motor went out about 3 years later. I was glad that the motor was still under warranty, but if it goes out again in another 3 years, it will not be under warranty and I'll have to pay for a new motor. I expect appliances to last more than 3 years. We'll see how things go with the new motor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THe hot water inlet valve inside the washer stopped working and remained in the open position even when the washer was turned off and unplugged. The part # is LG 5220FR2006Z to replace it. It must happen often since there is a Youtube LG video to help with the job. I have attached the link. LG should increase the 1 warranty period.

I have not had it long but it is a nice washer. More quiet and smaller footprint than my Maytag. Lots of options and the WiFi capability is something that I did not think I needed. It turns out it’s a great thing. Helps you remember that it’s done so clothes done. Also, the magnetic door is huge. It reduces the chance of smells and allows the rubber and washer to dry.

The washer works quickly and uses surprisingly little water. The app is great for letting me know my clothes are done if I'm not close enough to hear the chime. It's a lot harder to level than you'd expect, and harder than other washers I've installed, so probably pay someone else to do it.

Very easy to use. if you purchase this model it would be a good practice to wipe the door rubber ring dry at the end of that day washing so you done have a odor problem.
