This is my second purchase of this unit. I loved the first one so much that I had to have another for the upstairs. It is so smart and easy to use. They are so quiet that you hardly know they are running. I especially like the automatic emptying feature. I strongly recommend this vacuum.

Outstanding Vacuum

Over the last eight years, I have owned 4 different robot vacuums (Neato $500, Samsung $1200 , Dyson $1000 and now Dustin). Each one has its own benefits from previous products but Dustin is by far the most advanced and works flawlessly. Dustin is also in the right price range.

My house is a single story approximately 3200 square feet home with hard floors. On Dustin’s first run, he was able to map the entire house and still have battery left over. The app works well and allows you to control Dustin from your phone for spot cleaning. I haven’t had to empty Dustin’s bin yet because he has a large storage bag. Dustin is able to find his home without help and hasn’t gotten stuck under and furniture. I have only used the vacuum feature so far but am excited to try his mopping capabilities.

Highly recommended little helper

After a month using Dustin, I really love this smart boy, my Bobbie. He seems smarter than my previous bOb robot (PetHair Plus).

Bobbie (Dustin) first maps out the rooms, vacuums or mops (depending on the settings) the edges and then meticulously cleans the rest of the house. He works quite fast and once he's done, heads straight to the charging station without any loitering.

So far so good! l'm really happy and impressed with his performance.

bOb Sweep Dustin

It’s actually a pretty impressive sweeper. I have not tried the mop yet. I love that it gets under my dining room table and chairs. It also gets behind our couch! It gets along baseboards really well. I feel it cleans better than other brands that are sporadic in movement. This sweeper goes in a back in forth pattern. I have a lot of awkward places/obstacles in my house and very rarely does it get stuck.
We have 2 very hairy pups and this gives me a peace of mind if someone stops in for an unexpected visit. It does a good job of keeping the hair picked up. I have not put it on a scheduled cleaning yet. I have to go through and pick up dog toys before I let him go to work. I run it every day or every other, depending on if I can make sure it doesn’t get hung up on something.
I guess my only real complaint, and it’s not the machines fault, it does get clogged with the dog hair. The automatic self empty doesn’t get the dog hair out enough. I have to manually empty it every other use.
I would still highly recommend buying this sweeper! It has saved me from having to run the sweeper daily or having to see dog hair laying on our hardwood floors! The noise level isn’t bad either. I do still run my regular sweeper weekly but this saves me from running it every other day. Now if I can just find someone to dust?!?!

Does a good job, I feel like I have a butler

I’ve had the Dustin Self-Emptying Robot Cleaner for about a month now, and unfortunately, I’m not impressed. While the self-emptying feature is convenient, the overall performance leaves a lot to be desired. The brush keeps coming off during cleaning, which is frustrating. It also doesn’t sweep thoroughly, consistently leaving unclean areas behind, no matter how many times it goes over them. For the price, I expected much better performance. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Not impressed

Dustin has been with us about a month and he came out of the gate hot but has since lost traction. After mapping the entire house, I was delighted to use the Spot Clean and Room Clean feature. We run him almost daily, if not multiple times a day. However, he keeps having location issues and cannot seem to find the room or spot to clean. He just aimlessly wanders around the house in the wrong direction or spins in circles and I often have to manually re-dock him myself. I’ve had to let him remap the entire house a few times when all I want him to do is vacuum my kitchen. My app is up-to-date and we do not run a lot of things on WiFi besides him and occasionally the tv and cellphones so not sure what the issue is there. We’ve also had issues with the sweeper brush falling off (new and spare). I’ve emailed customer support and they were helpful. I’m set to receive to a replacement brush. Due to his inability to locate the specific spot with 100% accuracy, we have yet to use the mop feature. I will say, when he has cleaned where I wanted him to he’s done a decent job. The vacuum suction is adjustable but we’ve had it in the lowest setting and it’s done the trick. I also like the self-emptying feature. Be prepared; it sounds like a jet engine taking off but it’s nice not having to dump the tiny canister inside Dustin continuously. I’ve only had to take him apart once when he sucked up a Nerf bullet that slipped by us. The cleaning brush is handy for tidying up the roll brush and removing debris. He traverses easily over the various flooring types in our home without loosing traction. We’ve also had no issues with him getting stuck under furniture or knocking into things like our other previous robo vacuum. Overall, he cleans well when he can figure out how to get where you want him to go. Otherwise, he’s just a somewhat nice fixture in our home.

Dustin’s Last Known Location… Unknown

We purchased this item by seeing the decent reviews on the Sam’s club but it turns out that we received a bad device it stopped working after only using it twice it won’t charge always disconnects from the charging station no matter what so had to return the device hoping the replacement would be a good one.

For some reason won’t charge

I bought the bObsweep Wi-Fi Connected Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and Mop from Sam's Club on a huge sale. I had never heard of the brand but almost all reviews were excellent. It was simple to set up and the app is easy enough to navigate but...

I have home with all wood floors and a couple of area rugs. The Dustin did a very poor job of getting near the kitchen cabinets and appliances. It would miss anything within 2-3 inches of those. Same with the area rugs. It would leave behind anything along the edges of the rug on the wood floor.

When it came to mobility, the Dustin struggled to get up on one of my area rugs, it would take 3, 4, or even 5 tries to get over the edge. It would also intermittently get lost then spend 5 minutes banging around a closed door before giving up.

Self-cleaning, the Dustin would empty after each run (you can't miss the sound it makes) and never once did the bot dustbin contents actually make it to the base container.

Ultimately, I am returning the device after giving it a go for a month. If you have nothing but wide open spaces and don't mind manually emptying the bot dustbin then the Dustin bot is right for you.

Heavily Discounted for a Reason

This Bobsweep does not work as advertised. It stops in the middle of cleaning, constantly bumps into furniture, and the mopping feature doesn't work at all. Overall, it fails to perform any of the functions it claims to do. I would not recommend this product—Shark robot vacuums perform much better and are far more reliable.

Wouldn't recommend too many issues.

walmart.com

Not what I expected after owning an iRobot.
It seems like it’s just throwing dirt around the house.
Also, on the app there is no “go home” option. I had to cut the cleaning short because it is very LOUD.
Plus, I think I scared it, as it left a streak of dirt as it was docking.

Not crazy about it
