Ease Of Setup

After months of comparing Sonos with other brands, paying attention to what I was hearing when I was at a dinner party or a cocktail event, and reading lots of reviews, I decided to spring for these Sonos Era 100 speakers. I have the pair setup in my living room and I’ve enjoyed how easy it is to get such a high quality experience with them. The tuning (equalizer) features are intuitive and allow these speakers to sound great in any room.

Worth the hype

These are by far the BEST set of speakers EVER. They deliver a super crisp and clear sound no matter what your listening palate may be. I had the Apple speakers that were DOUBLE the price but didn't match the sound. Needless to say I returned those and blind purchased these. MY BEST SAM'S PURCHASE TO DATE.

APPLE WHO? BOSE WHO?

They work great with the app and Fire Stick and scheduling works as expected.
I have one on the Sonos assistant and one on the Alexa assistant.

They are an improvement from the first version

I love all of Sonos Products. Have using it for years and this purchase was an addition to what I already have.

Reasonably priced ,high quality sound for a complete home entertainment sound system also paired with the Sonos beam generation 2.

Best sounding speakers! Easy to set up with the Sonos app.

Awesome speakers! Great sounds and the best price here!

Powerful and great clarity

They’re wonderful sounding speakers. I have them for my surrounds and they’re just fine just fine. I have them in the back of my living room. The sound is quite good very clear and robust.

Sonos

Unable to use as device cannot update itself.
reading the forums, this is a common issue they have little to no help in fixing.
customer support is zero help with either referrals back to the FAQ.
not worth the hassle and is incredibly frustrating.

Purchased two sets of these ERA 100s (4 speakers total) to use for some Christmas gatherings at my house. VERY EASY to install and setup. Got going perfectly. Was super happy with everything.

HOWEVER, throughout the month of use, I've encountered numerous issues with the Sonos app. Sometimes, there is a HUGE delay when adjusting the volume on my phone and when it actually takes effect on the speaker. Put it to max volume by accident? Decrease the volume on your phone. Oh wait, it sometimes takes 15 seconds to finally decrease.

Other times, the speakers would completely disappear from the Sonos app like they were never there. They'll show up again randomly and work again.

If you take a second to google "Sonos app problems", you'll see that Sonos recently (in the past year) made a huge overhaul of their phone app. It ended up being an absolute disaster and they lost the respect of all their Sonos dedicated customers. CEO even released an apology statement.

DO NOT buy any Sonos product for now. At least until all the bugs are officially fixed. huge headache currently

MAJOR issues with app, google it yourself
