The rectangular Smart Dry duct cover is located next to the silverware basket. The problem is that the cover can be easily dislocated when a utensil in the basket catches onto the edge of the cover as the bottom dishrack is pulled out. When the cover gets dislocated, a water leaks occurs and causes an LC error code. Hopefully this feedback will lead Samsung to improve the duct cover design or change the duct location. In the meantime, I do not recommend buying a Samsung dishwasher with the Smart Dry system.

Smart Dry duct design defect causes water leak

Samsung US

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Samsung dishwasher with power wash. Its quiet and my dishes come out super clean every time. It has all the different wash modes to cover any wash scenario you need. also energy star rated so able to use anytime of day and not worry about the cost. It also releases the door at cycle
end to help with drying and cooling of the dishes and machine which i like because you know the cycle is
done when the door pops open.

Great dishwasher

Third rack configuration is awful. Doesn't hold anything. Unless they can send me a picture of the thought process for loading I don't get it Quite and does wash well.

Third rack crap

Glaiza

After 5 years waterwall quit working. Pots and pans on lower rack were not getting cleaned. 3 months after 5 years warranty ran out. After I had to replace high end Samsung washer and dryer a few months ago and now this. I will be going with another highly recommended brand. Phones are great appliances not so much.

Worked for 5 years. Waterwall quit working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't be happier. Dishwasher is almost silent, and dishes come out clean, dry, and streak free. Not completely sold on the adjustable height for the middle rack - seems like if lowered to accommodate wine glasses it is too low for large plates in the bottom, but the flexibility is nice. I liked the Bosch I had previously, but drying was an issue for that one.

Super quiet, dishes get clean and dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher works great but the door doesn't open completely or lay flat when loading. This makes it awkward to get dishes on the bottom rack into and out of the dishwasher. We had a service person in to check it out and he told us that was normal. No it isn't. We've had many dishwashers including other Samsungs and this has never happened. I wouldn't recommend it if this is ‘normal' for this brand.

Great features, awful door!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great very quiet dishwasher. The only issue we have: the door side panel cracked without any reason and Samsung refused to change the part saying it's not covered by our warranty. It's very sad. Our next dishwasher won't be Samsung

Great dishwasher with a minor issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my dishwasher. It's quiet, the app is useful, it holds a lot of dishes, and works well on dried on food. My only issue is that it does not hold larger plates. The spinning water dispenser hits the plates that I thought were normal size. The smaller plates all fit well. We are planning to buy a new set of dishes because of this. I think it's worth it, especially for the price of the dishwasher.

Good dishwasher, but check your plate size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great capacity and cleaning; smart feature is very nice to have access to status and updates throughout the process. Auto-opening door to assist in drying is helpful. Overall very satisfied with dishwasher.

Happy With Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first dishwasher we have owned that we don't have to completely rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. It works great is super quiet and I love that the door pops open when the cycle is complete. The different wash cycles are great and they do exactly what they say they do. No more pre-rinsing dishes or running them through a second time because they didn't get clean. This machine is great I would 100% recommend this dishwasher to anyone that has a busy life.
