We have found it to be very accurate and super easy to program. Also the rapid boil feature has been really helpful. This is our 4th range from Samsung and this is head and shoulders above the rest!

Easy use

A fantastic oven and a stove top that saves money daily, functioning nearly flawlessly.  I use this oven for baking, and when it comes to making bread, it is hands down functional.  I have made use of many of the other features of the oven, including the sous vide feature -  something that I have professionally used in the past, using the water bath method that is clearly a step up for preparing and infusing flavors from herbs into food at low heat.  

The stovetop is good, and while it does have some faults, it still functions really well, getting things up to temperature really fast while saving money.  Those things that could be better listed by issue include:

- Lockout functionality is present, though it could be better. It does require holding down the pause button for three seconds and then selecting the option to disable the ability for cats or children to access the controls.  This is not 100% foolproof, as a power failure or brownout can cause this to reset.  

-The system board, where the controls are located, has a rubber gasket that helps prevent water from boiling over with the free pans that one can order, so be wary if using these.  I use Made in Cookware that has a steam vent when boiling or simmering liquids, which helps, but it is still worth keeping an eye on, as the stovetop is flush, unlike traditional stovetops that are concave with trays.  Cleanup is easier, but it does still require a watchful eye.  

We have not had water go down into the board like another reviewer, but I could see if there were a gap or if this were improperly installed can see where this could be an issue. A better design could solve the issue for this issue reported, but if it does happen to you, report it and have it repaired ASAP while under warranty.

Our only issue with this gasket is that small food crumbs will get stuck between the gasket and the stove top and the panel, making cleanup difficult.  However, understanding the importance of this gasket versus making cleanup a bit more difficult is well understood. 

- The final issue that I noted - the markings for the oots and pans could be a bit clearer.  Rather than white in this stove top, ours, perhaps last year's model (?) is grey and difficult to see and properly place pots. 

Overall, a massive upgrade over our full electric stove top, and the fact that I can bake a pizza at 550 degrees, getting it finished in 10 - 12 minutes, is a massive game-changer and a welcome relief to our energy costs when it comes to the induction stove top.

I like this unit. My only complaints are that the dials are very sensitive. If you look at them wrong the screen lights up, plus the dials are hard to clean. The inside of the oven is easily cleaned tho. One of the few Samsung products that I would buy again. I bought the care* just to be safe. Hopefully I don’t need it unlike the dishwasher, microwave, and all in one wash/dryer.

I honestly don't want to give this range 3 stars, but im not really able to rate it higher!  First of let me say that this range is amazing,  When it's on its a real pleasure to use, the control panel is intuitive and the range of functions impressive. But, that's when it's on.  The touchscreen,  especially the power button,  is not sensitive enough.  You have push it numerous times, or push and hold it a while, but neither is for sure.  It will turn when it's good and ready. And I see in these reviews this is becoming common.  Find this flaw Samsung, troubleshoot these things until you get it right.  Then issue the fix to every owner.  Make me continue to believe in you.

Make this right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This induction range is really pretty.  We really love how sleek and attractive this is in our kitchen.  It does a great job at everything we've cooked on and in it.  That said, it's incredibly frustrating to turn on and use.  The power button does not recognize our touch and fails to turn on most of the time.  We have to hold our finger on the button repeatedly before it recognizes that we're trying to turn it on and use it.  The control lock is NOT on and the surface is pristine.  The oven door button is also very unresponsive.  It's very frustrating and makes me wish we'd stuck with a range that has physical controls.  Everything else works great, but the physical controls are terrible.

Controls are terrible

I’m 86 years old, a widow of a disabled veteran, living on my own. I bought a Samsung 60-inch 5-burner electric stove from Lowe’s in Cypress, TX, and in July the oven failed. Samsung sent a technician who falsely claimed the motherboard was ruined by roaches—completely untrue. He didn’t fix it, canceled my service ticket, and Samsung refused further help unless I hired an exterminator I didn’t need.

I had to pay my own technician, who confirmed the stove needs a new motherboard or replacement. This has been exhausting and unfair. Samsung products and customer service have been nothing but a nightmare.

I’m 86, living alone, and Samsung left me stranded

I just received it this morning and it's stuck on selecting the country in the setup screen. The next button doesn't work. Other reviews point out the same issue.

When I called Support, every person was very rude. I've only bought Samsung since 2017 (phones, washer and dryer, and now a range), but this whole experience has made me to never want to buy Samsung again.

I don't think the issue can be repaired by a third party, so I'm hoping the "easy returns" is true. Now my old stove is gone, so even if I do a return, I don't have a stove anymore.

Brand new but can't use

I thought I loved this range and oven. Unfortunately, after owning it 6 weeks, the glass over the range cracked. Samsung claims I am 8 months out of warranty (it came with the house I bought with a new kitchen). While I understand this, Samsung support was useless. They will not sell me the part and the parts department says they don't carry it. They claim  tech can repair it, so I don't get why they can source the part but won't sell to me. Still waiting to see if they get back to me with details. They also said maybe they can give me a discount on a new range, but couldn't transfer me to sales and the number they provided gets stuck in an AI loop. I would ten thousand percent never buy a Samsung again after 15 years of exclusively buying their products.

Had potential, poor quality, even worse support

Faulty Design.Control panel issues. Samsung replaced twice during intial warranty. We had purchased Samsung care + which is a big scam. extended warranty is with Assurant not with Samsung. Technician from assurant wont debug the issue and simply step  by closing the ticket. Touch screen is single point of failure - you can’t use stove if touch is not working. Stay away from this product.
