The 55" Frame TV is a great addition to our new home. As we opted not to purchase cable service, we are using the built-in apps to connect over the internet for content and it has been smooth and clear, no lag. We mounted it not flush to the wall, with the included mount, but on a swivel mount so that I can move the TV and view it while in the kitchen or dining room. It is the perfect size for the space where it is mounted, and easily connected to my soundbar and subwoofer, so everything looks and sounds great. And, I really enjoy the art display capability, and elected to upload some of our own photos instead, so we get to see images that really matter to us any time we enter the room.

Amazing tv

There's simply no TV that can replace it! The oil painting screensaver from the Art Mode looks just like a real oil painting hanging at home. It's stunning! Just looking at it every day lifts my mood.

My window opposite of the TV is not a problem anymore with reflections. The “picture” frame is a really cool feature. I'll be buying another larger Samsung frame TV for my living room soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just installed our frame tv. It looks great and replaced an older flagship Samsung curved tv from 2015. The tv looks great so far. The afternoon sun would cause glare to distract from the previous tv, it is not an issue with this tv. I went with the frame for the matte screen, it does not disappoint. The default settings look good, the brightness and color might get some tweaks but I'm happy with what came out of the box. I like that the tv came with a One Connect box which allowed me to hide all of my wires on the other side of the wall. The included wall mount was not needed but I'm grateful it's there in the event I need it.

Cool screen

Our living room is surrounded by windows and the afternoon glare on our last set made it impossible to watch.  Now there is no such problem.  The picture is not just good, it is clear and crisp - very lifelike.  It is intuitively easy to use and a breeze to set up.  Samsung outdid themselves with this one.  Oh and the picture feature adds really expensive art to our home.  Guests geek and gaw that such priceless paintings adorn our walls!

Amazing technology in a feature filled television

I've always been a samsung ecosystem fan. I love the smartthings support with the TV. My phone can cast anything even my screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product the frame is bright but has a nice fullness to it in painting mode and using it as a TV the picture is amazing the remote works well and everything looks really nice and colorful the frame itself looks very pretty and nice on the wall almost cant tell it's a screen at all!

Amazing would recomend

Having it auto default to the preferred home navigation would make for a more positive user experience.   It setup was super simple and mounting the TV was surprisingly simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Samsung TV because the picture quality is excellent, but the software experience has been incredibly frustrating.

My biggest complaint is the home screen. On my Apple TV, the home screen is exactly what I want it to be: a simple grid of my apps. If I want recommendations, featured content, or advertisements, I can open the Apple TV app and see all of that there. It's separated from the basic navigation experience.

Samsung does the opposite. The home screen is filled with recommendations, promoted content, and other clutter that I never asked for. Instead of feeling like a dashboard for my TV, it feels like an advertising platform that I have to navigate through every time I turn it on.

What's even more frustrating is the lack of customization. I can't simply strip the home screen down to my apps and the services I actually use. The TV constantly pushes content at me whether I want it or not.

The hardware is great and the picture quality is impressive, but the user interface significantly detracts from the overall experience. If Samsung gave users the option to have a clean, app-focused home screen like Apple TV, I would rate this TV much higher.
