This is our second LG stackable washer and Dryer, we purchase our firsrt pare 13 years ago and
they needed reparts. So we decided to purchase new ones, the size and the pedestals so I do't have to bend over at age 76.

Great features

I really do love this washer and dryer.....however, there is one anomaly.  The dryer works wonderfully, but makes a continuously rhythmic light clicking sound. The dryer drum is designed in such a way that the outside ridges of the drum "knock" lightly against part of the frame, or something like that.  LG sent out an amazing LG expert.  All is well, but the noise.  We have to close a door we had not had to close with the old set.

I needed to do laundry and with this dryer, the dry time was done in half the time as my previous dryer.  I was very surprised on how quick it did and it wasn't very loud at all. Unbelievably impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] his dryer is quite and overall performs well. Very easy to use but the thing I like the most is how quite these are you can not hear them running at all.It does dry hotter on low than the old dryer. I do like the WiFi and LG app which sends a notification to my Phone when the cycles complete. Really love the functionality especially if I get busy in other room of the house. The controls can be greatly simplified! If you need to freshen up a piece of clothing just use the steam function.  I’m so happy with my new dryer paired with the washer that is amazing too.

Amazing dryer!

I bought this drier 6 years ago and I have been very pleased with it overall performance. The drier has a steam dry feature which I have been unable to utilize because to water supply is located on the wrong side of utility room and I have not spent the money to route the water over to the other side. I may do it soon.

Excellent Drier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved into a new house after 5 years on the road living in our 40’ fifth wheel RV. Most of our clothes were in storage in a basement and they needed to be refreshed to get the musty smell out. I used the 30 minute steam cycle and my clothes came out smelling as fresh and clean as when I put them in storage! No rewashing needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros:  This is a very quiet front load dryer with many excellent features. It has a good load capacity, and is gentle on the clothes.  The ability to download a custom drying cycle is a nice benefit, and we’ve used the “small load” cycle several times.
Cons:  The control panel on the upper right is not backlit, and the print is not very prominent, so the lettering is difficult to see for those that have some vision impairment.

An excellent Dryer with great features

It makes it easy to remember when you're running around the house doing other chores. Will need to purchase riser though so that it's easier to load since I'm just not use to a low profile like this. Very Quiet

Unfortunately, it never dries anything with just one cycle, no matter what setting, no matter what size load, I have had to run it through 3, 4, even 5 times before it all gets dry. I now do time dry, because it's the only way to get anything dry. We have only had this dryer for about a year, and I have to say, we are disappointed but hoping we can find a problem that can be fixed.

Disappointed

The dryer door let's the lent collect around the seal instead of the lent trap. They brought me a replacement, and it does the same thing. They then sent out a repair man who was a joke.  With out even really checking it out, he said it was a manufacturing defect . And I'm stuck with a defective product.  Not pleased at all.
