Assembly

I bought the Saxony XL grill gazebo two years ago and assembled it by myself. If you are assembling it by yourself, I recommend assembling the roof on the top, unlike I did… This has withstood two winters in New England, with a lot of snow last winter.  The Cedar wood remains very strong, clean (as advertised), and the overall product is very durable.  This gazebo provides a really enjoyable way to cook in the outdoors without an outdoor kitchen.  I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice entertainment/grilling area with the right space for it.

Easier than I thought! Unfortunately, The cement patio wasnt big enough to accomadate the Pergola however, I had a professional make adjustments with the supplied materials. Took about 6 hours to complete and looks fantastic! On The day of installation, The temperature was 96° with the ," feels like" temperature around 104° with the humidity. But under the roof of the Pergalo, The temperature was 90° F AND the feels like temperature was 92° F. Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with the Pergalo.

Easier to put together than thought

BILT

Just finished assembling this and we love it. I will be honest, the assembly is tough and there are a lot of pieces. It took a couple of days to stain/waterproof the wood - make sure to look inside the main posts as there are quite a few smaller pieces tucked in there. Once you are ready to assemble, ask some friends over. We tried this with just the two of us and it is NOT recommended. We are using this as a carport and it is so much sturdier and attractive than the metals ones we purchased in the past. If we wanted to use it as a gazebo later on, simply move out the vehicles. I dare the Nebraska winds to knock this down!!

Assembly tough but end product is worth it

I've had an excellent experience with the Backyard Discovery Saxony Grill Gazebo. The cedar construction is sturdy, attractive, and looks great on my patio. It provides plenty of shade while grilling and does a great job keeping the rain off, so I can cook comfortably in almost any weather.

The assembly takes some time, but all the parts are well labeled and the instructions are easy to follow. Once it's anchored, the gazebo feels very solid. I also like the built-in shelves and hooks—they keep my grilling tools organized and within reach.

Overall, this gazebo has completely transformed my outdoor cooking area. It looks like a premium product, is built with quality materials, and has become the centerpiece of my backyard. If you're looking for a durable, great-looking grill gazebo that's worth the investment, I highly recommend the Backyard Discovery Saxony.

Saxony backyard Discovery

This has completely transformed our backyard. We used to only be able to take our toddler out in the early morning or late evenings, but this gives us shade and makes our yard usable the way we always wanted it to be. My only regret is not having bought this sooner

Wish I had bought this years ago!

We love it. My fiance and myself built it in a day. Pretty easy once you get started. I have already referred 2 people to get them as well as we are in campground.  Love it

Nice

This kit was excellent. Extra fasteners in case you lost one on the ground while building was a plus. Super easy installation booklet. The app was clunky and too time consuming to use. Love the protection for my car and we will use it for outdoor gatherings as well. I will paint it to match the rest of my house posts soon.

Fast, Cost Effective and Well Constructed

I purchased my Backyard Discovery Saxony XL grill gazebo to for our outdoor grill station. All of our parts were in great condition and install was pretty straightforward. It’s great having a place to cook and serve hot off the griddle or smoker . Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Outdoor Cooking Area

We absolutely love our 14x12 Arcadia gazebo. My husband and I set this up by ourselves. The instructions were impeccable. Although, you do need to have advanced DIY skills in order to tackle we took our time and were able to do it. Every detail was perfectly outlined. The kit itself was extremely high quality. The end product is beautiful and sturdy. We couldn’t be happier with it!

Beautiful Gazebo

Already had this unit for 2 months and it has been such a great addition outdoor area.  We live in South Florida and needed a gazebo over the newly updated BBQ area to protect it from the sun and the rain.  Once the gazebo was completely up you can feel how sturdy and solid it sits on the surface without having secure it against the wall, it can free stand with no additional support.  After an extensive research this unit by far proved to be the more high quality gazebo and the assembly instructions were very easy to follow with all hardware clearly marked.  This has transformed the backyard to even a better space in our home and enhancing the look of outdoor space.  Some of our visitors have been so impressed by it that they are planning to add one to there outdoor space.
