I do make a Christmas candy. Well my  recipe is actually a Christmas cookie. They're called toffee cookie crunch bars, funny part is they're not even bars.You break the big five pound.Slab into pieces ! Lol.. this recipe, is 38 years old. And I've used it for that many years. My kids love it ,since they were lil. A nd only 2 kids back then, which turned into 4, 10 years later. THESE candies are so good.I had to look up a recipe.So I could make some at home, although these were better than regular english toffee, they do have bits of nuts in the toffee candy as well as sprinkled on top! I'm going to put pecan bits when I make my toffes !

Toffee bites bites

Awesome, I love love love these. I'm a huge chocolate fan and these are by far better than a lot of toffee products I have eaten. The reviews that say awful, in my opinion it's a taste thing to each person. I decided to write this review because of the 1-star reviews I read. I got mine after Christmas clearance and wished I had bought more.

Bitterness and sweetness just right. Easy to chew too.
Love that it's individually wrapped. Cinemas should be selling this.

Delightful snack/dessert

Dark chocolate is the one that is good for you!   It's hard to find good dark chocolate candies but this one qualifies. 
The toffee is good, with a very slight smokiness that doesn't overpower, but enhances the flavor.   Not overly sweet or bitter.  Like a well aged scotch, the smokiness is smooth and satisfying.  Not for kiddies, the taste probably appeals more to those who tend towards subtle continental flavors.   

Don't expect a heath-type uber sweet flavor and you won't be disappointed.  This is for folks who enjoy new or sophisticated flavors.   But that's just my take on it.

Toffee

Dark chocolate is great. Toffee needs to have more of a buttery taste. Pieces are small so it gives me an excuse to eat 2.

Good toffee

The candy has a very mild dark chocolate flavor, like an unsweetened milk chocolate that has food coloring added.  The toffee tastes dry.

Disappointing but edible

Not very good.  I love dark chocolate but this was awful.  I will probably throw the entire thing away.  I got this on sale after the holidays but whatever I paid was too much.
