Was looking for a smart TV that would fit in an armoire in our guest bedroom. This Vizio was one of the only in a 40" that would fit. I liked that it was 1080p and also had Bluetooth to link up to my headphones. Was a great value at $150 bucks, and got it delivered the same day!

Best 40" TV For Guest Bedroom

walmart.com

I purchased a 40” QLED TV from Best Buy 2 months ago and this one replaced it. The TCL TV buffered for too long when you turned it on and then when it quit buffering it would tune to the last channel and show I was watching 24 hours ago. I pulled this Vizio out of the box to ensure that it did not do the same thing, and to my delight it worked just like you would expect a TV to work

Great picture with no buffering

Purchased for my neighbor because he had been down in the dumps. He
was excited to get it. He put it together really fast and added extra channels. I don't want to jinx him but everything is going very well with it so that's good.
he is still very very happy. 👍🏽

Happy, happy joy, joy 🥳

I bought this at a great price but did not know that VIZIO was purchased by Walmart and there is a "built-in" component that really tries very hard to get you to buy the Walmart subscription. I don't need all that and it was a little bit of a challenge NOT to have to buy the subscription. While setting up just "decline" or "cancel" as you go along and everything will still work just fine. It was otherwise easy to set up. Pretty much plug it in and it is ready. The remote is very simple and it easily worked with the cable remote (yes I still have one of those) without having to reprogram that device. The picture is very bright and crisp and the sound is great.

Nice TV even without a subscription

This TV is horrible. I don't know if I just got a dud or what but it's constantly buffering, constantly randomly leaving the show I'm watching, and just honestly hardly ever works. I replaced an old tv with this and the old one worked better. I wouldn't recommend this at all

Horrible

We got it and tried to set it up. First, no screws… there were supposed to be screws but they sent an empty bag instead. Second. The remote didn't work. Third, the picture was JACKED up. It kept fading in and out, sometimes going black altogether.

Absolute garbage

This tvs operating system is garbage. It's slow and very unpredictable. Tv leaves your programing for no reason and the remote is completely worthless!

Build/quality issues: the grommet for the mounts on the back was not checked during quality control and one of them was incorrectly installed, likely by a machine. This made the TV unmountable and had done damage to the screen because of the way the mount had been misplaced

Poor quality control, be cautious

The persistent requirement for a Walmart account, coupled with recurring login failures and invalid verification codes, has resulted in a highly unsatisfactory user experience. Consequently, I cannot recommend this product and have decided to discontinue myself from purchasing the VIZIO brand.

Visio used to be a good brand. A more cost effective Sony. However they are garbage NOW. Bluetooth almost never works and when it finally does it drops frequently. Remotes is sometimes non responsive. I have to manually turn it off and then sometimes i just have to unplug to turn off. I will never buy a Visio again and would not recommend that you purchase!!
