Ease Of Setup

We bought this tv to use at the church building instead of a projector, it works great. For the price it's just an excellent choice.

Fair Price TV

walmart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV is massive and heavier than I expected but seems well built. The picture is bright and there is no stutter. The sound isn't horrible for a flat screen but nothing that a sound bar couldn't fix.

The TCL 98QM6K has an incredible picture. For the price it can't be beat. You may not even need a soundbar as the built in subwoofer has a very good quality sound. I'd highly recommend this TV.

The Best TV for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We LOVE our TV!! It was easy to transport with 2 people, easy set up, and registration. Both the visual and sound quality are stellar! I can only imagine what the experience will be once we get our Sonos subwoofer hooked up! Impressive!!

We LOVE our TV

tcl.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] nice tv, I had an older sony that I replaced this with. Does have better blacks but there are SO many settings its kind of overwhelming. Just wish they had a dummy mode setup that you could just click and be done with it. So much hype about this tv I was really expecting more of a difference from my older sony but really, its not that big of a thing. Blacks are better, I will give it that and depending on the movie, the colors pop more.

nice tv

thought the TV wasn't the best at one thing but was good enough in everything including a bright living area

Good Enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd 98” mini LED in 30 day, first was broken and did not work, Second one worked and then the motherboard went south after 10 days and it would not recognize the HDMI ports. Hopefully, this one lasts. If not, I'm done with TCL. With that being said, the color and picture are unparalleled.

3rd One The Charm

I bought this tv had to pick it up, delivery was not an option, and I have read too many horror stories about the delivery. I got it home opened it, everything seemed ok. Turned the tv on and the first thing I notice are weird colors and patterns close to the top border. I thought well, maybe once it gets itself set up and runs all it's updates, it will clear up. It did not. Then I see several black lines running vertically down the screen, top to bottom. I took a video of it while it was setting up. I was hesitant because I bought an 85" Samsung TV from Sam's 3 years ago, but they included an Allstate 5 year warranty. The tv died after 3 years, after some fuss, Samsung sent me a check to replace the tv. So I went to Sam's to buy this tv, and not only did they not offer the Allstate 5 year protection plan included (like they do for the Samsung), but I couldn't even buy it for this TCL tv. That should have been a red flag. I did some googling to see if there was some sort of reset, but it stated that with the symptoms my tv has, it was probably damaged during shipping (to Sam's) or damaged during manufacturing.

Problem with TCL QM63 98" tv

Maersk(delivery company) showed up with one guy, so he rolled my $2000 TV onto the porch and pushed it in my house. I have spent and hour on the phone with customer service and no resolution has been presented. Do not trust Sam's to ship this item with a reliable company and do not expect to resolve the issues easily. Worst experience, worst customer service possible.

DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU HAVE TO SHIP

One of the reasons I purchased this television was because of the attractive offer of free wall mounting through Angi. Purchased on 6/8, delivered on 6/10 and I have yet to receive the confirmation email for the install. I have called a total of 3 times to remedy the situation and I still haven’t received confirmation. Very disappointed!
