the keyboard is great. it behaves well, and the lighting is really fun to watch. but, the key switches just didn't feel the way i wanted. these were the "red" switches, and i think i needed the "brown" ones. different mechanism. however, i still gave it five stars, even though it wasn't right for me. your mileage may vary.

the keyboard is great, but...

Very well made keyboard with snappy keys and great feedback. No issues with response times while gaming.
The keyboard is more compact than my last one because of the omission of the G keys on the left; but it has other programmable keys if needed.
The wrist rest is nice with the magnetic attachment and soft feel, but the material attracts dust and fur.
Loving the charging port along the backside of the board for my phone to be easily accessed while gaming.
Bought this on sale for about 30-40% off and it was definitely worth it.

Snappy keyboard with less width

walmart.com

Probably the best keyboard I have ever owned. I usually like low profile keys, but this feels like a nice compromise between a mechanical keyboard and a low-profile keyboard. Each key press feels satisfying both tactile and sound wise. What I also enjoy is that most of the programming and settings can be completed on the built-in LED screen, so no software installs on your computer is required.

Best of the best for the money

fantastic! it might have been on the cheaper side out of all the choices out there. however, it feels and works just like the expensive ones! great deal great product

Had a Roccat Vulcan 121 prior, both good keyboards. This board is more customizable than the Roccat. Haven't messed with the screen, i like the volume roller. Lights seem good, bright, at the moment. Happy with the purchase.

Good customizable keyboard

I've researching keyboards for a while and decided to give this one a try due to what the AI search engines were saying about its reliability and mechanical switches. I must say I've never felt better keys ever. I bought the red switches and they are so nice. They say the red switches are the Linear Quite ones but if these are quiet I would hate to hear the clicky loud ones LOL. I would say the key sound is more moderate than silent which I'm good with. The colors on this board are amazing! Keep in mind some places are charging $150 for these keyboards. It's a steal at $89!

Awesome RGB Keyboard

I bought this keyboard and mouse (apex 7 and aerox 5) when I decided i wanted to upgrade my keyboard and mouse. I decided on steelseries due to already owning a steelseries pro wireless headset and loving the quality. The keyboard and mouse are also very nice quality at a decent price for what I got. All the products use the steelseries gg app which offers ease of use and customization. I am loving these products.

Great products

steelseries.com

I love the backlight; you can set each key to the color you want and make it easier to find certain keys.

High build quality and linear switches that allow very fast typing with not much pressure, but you have to be careful not to press a key by accident; that's why the one star removed.

High quality and per key customized backlighting

It’s not a quiet keyboard if that’s what you’re looking for. But it’s functional and well-made. It looks great with my husband’s computer system. The lighted keyboard is really nice and I would recommend it over many others that we have purchased. It’s also a really good price.

Real life wife here with your review

I got this on sale for $90, and at that price, it is an okay value. The keyboard itself feels great and types well. However, I wouldn't recommend paying full price for it right now. The OLED screen is advertised to show CPU performance and system stats, but SteelSeries deactivated the app that does this. Without that feature, the screen is pretty much worthless. Good board, but don't buy it for the screen until they fix the software.

Great keyboard, but the OLED screen features are m

I bought this on 11/5/25 and has been happy since then till one of the letters stopped working just recently. i was hoping to return and purchase a new one but i guess it's non returnable after 30 days. This keyboard didn't even make it to 6 mos used! 😥 😞
