Bought this for my daughter's dorm room. Fits her 15" MacBook Pro with touch bar with plenty of room for a camera and jewelry box, wallet and small purse. I put a pantry shelf inside so she can slide her laptop in and other stuff underneath. The credit card locking feature is ideal. Wish Sentry added an installed loop or eyelet for  attaching a cable so it can't be removed, since we cannot bolt it to the dorm room wall or floor. I will have to improvise. Happy with the purchase especially for what Sams selling price.

Easy to use and set up

I bought this safe a month ago. It is roomy, has electronic lock and overriding key in case you forgot the number. So far I had none issues with my purchase and I really like it.

Works Good for me!

This safe does everything we need for it to do. Small enough to hide in a closet, has 3 methods to open and they all function properly. Not crazy about bolting to wall, so we are choosing to hide the safe. Let’s face it, if they break into your house, 4 screws isn’t going to stop deadbeats.

Fits My Needs

Love it!  I honestly didn't expect such a great product for such a reasonable price.  It's exactly like the personal safes I've encountered in the high end hotels.  Perfect size, easy to set up and operate with just enough weight to give you the sense of security that you need.  Thank you for making this product available to the retail market.

I bought 50 of these for my hotel rooms and bolted them to bottom of the side tables. They work nice with 4 digit code or a credit card swipe. Spacious enough to store a 17” laptop. Love them. No issues so far and backed by Sams and extra 4 years from Square Trade warranty. Only black color available though.

Brand name safe, perfect for 17” laptop

The safe is the perfect size for my use.  Easy to install.  Only disappointment is that the numbers do not illuminate.  I installed the safe in a dark area, as many folks might, but you need to use a separate light source to see the numbers to punch in your code.

Great size to store all documents and personal items.
Al-tho a little worried do to the fact that we where on holiday in Majorca and there  was a number of room break ins that had similar safes to yours, and they where broken into by forcing the middle of the door and bending it to open.

Good size

Would give 5-stars except the hinges protrude 7/8" on the right side when the door is open, which restricts the overall width of jewelry trays that can be inserted into the safe.  Also, the spring on top of the lower hinge sticks out even more than the hinge itself, further restricting the overall width by nearly one inch.  If this or similar models are ever re-engineered, consideration should be given to alleviating this drawback.

Easy to install & operate; 3 separate ways to open

Nice safe, easy to set up, plenty of room. Light is something and nothing, I didn’t find it any help but a minor issue. The external battery pack is a good idea, to get out of trouble if internal batteries go flat. Additional use of a card swipe is a handy option. Fixing kit is just 4 screws, a bolt down would be far more secure and requires the base and back to be re-drilled to accept them as holes provided are small. Almost deletes the object of having a safe if it can’t be secured correctly. Early days yet but first signs are ok.

A few things I find that I dislike.  1. the re-entering the passcode to re-lock the door.  2.  the time out of 20 minutes when someone enters in the wrong passcode a few times.  3.  unable to use a card to open up the door.  On the plus side its roomy.

Things you should know first before

Numeric keypad did not work. I returned it. I plan to buy an alternate model.
