The Samsung Q-Series 3.1.2ch soundbar delivers immersive Dolby Atmos with clear overhead effects and strong overall movie performance. It pairs especially well with Samsung TVs thanks to Q-Symphony, which blends TV and soundbar audio for fuller sound. Setup is simple, the wireless subwoofer connects easily, and smart features like Adaptive Sound and SpaceFit tuning add convenience. The soundbar offers excellent value for the price, with consistently high user ratings.

However, the bass is not as deep or powerful as some users expect from the subwoofer. Connectivity can occasionally be inconsistent, especially with Bluetooth or wireless Atmos. Music performance is good but not as detailed as higher-end systems. Overall, it’s a great mid-range choice for Samsung TV owners and movie lovers but less ideal for audiophiles seeking stronger bass and precision.

Great purchase

We have had this speaker for about a month and so far it was been an enhancement to our TV’s sound.  Easy setup, easy to use.

GREAT soundbar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I was very skeptical about purchasing this expensive sound bar, but after a couple of months, it turned out to be a really great Sound bar. The base and the quality of the sound is amazing, I can hear the sound woofer outside of the garage where I put it in the sound is very clear. I can hear it from about 70 to 100 feet away. I am pretty impressed with the sound bar and I would get it again.

I don’t really see much difference between the Samsung television sound and using the sound bar. The Samsung television has great quality sound already and the sound bar muted. Some of the sounds. I heard when it was turned off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best soundbar/sub combo I've ever had. For watching TV shows and movies on streaming services, or through the cable provider, the sound is consistently good. Music videos sound great. 

For Dolby Atmos experience, the product is not what I'd hoped. It sounds good and starts to approach immersive sound with a proper mix from a 4K Blu-ray disc, connected to my Samsung Q80R e-arc hdmi port, played through a 4K Blu-ray player. It doesn't get very immersive or Atmos-y when playing 4K, Dolby Atmos movies from streaming services. 

For a general-purposes unit, this sound bar is serviceable and sometimes great. From my experience, I think that one needs the best source material/media/playback devices to achieve what the sound bar is really capable of. Perhaps this is true of all 3.1.2 systems. I keep thinking I should buy the wireless rear speaker kit to see if the immersive-ness becomes what I'd hoped. The upfiring speakers don't dazzle me. Maybe true of all upfiring Atmos solutions?
