I buy this rice every so often, it's lot of it ,but we like rice. I take this big bag rice break it down to 2 cups per bag and vacuum it into flat packs so it stacks well after all  rice is bagged I put it in bottom of our freezer. I like the Balsamic rice best. Stores well like this.

You don't always need a sticky rice. Basmati is my favorite non-sticky rice and it has a distinctive, sweeter taste from being naturally fermented. And this brand, IMO, is the best. Besides, the woven bag is useful for so many other things after you empty it.  A win all around.

This is an excellent brand of basmati, my favorite! If you've never tried basmati before I guarantee you it will be your favorite too! It is really excellent for any kind of Indian dishes but you can also use it for Mexican lime rice, that's what they use to have at Chipotle then they changed it to cheap white rice and it was never the same. You just basically cook it, make sure you put salt in it and then add lime juice to it.

I have recently shifted to Royal basmati rice; earlier I used to have another one. This one is a good catch. The rice cooks perfectly with water balance; I cook sub-continental foods like biryani, etc., with this. Glad that I am ordering this. With my recommendations, my friends are switching to this. Most importantly, as I am concerned about the environment, I really appreciate the use of jute bag instead of plastic bags. You know, a small step can make huge differences.

Environment friendly packaging, rice cooks perfect

Yes, there are many brands of rice and people have lots of choices. I love Basmati rice and it can be prepared very easily and quickly in an InstaPot. (2 to 1 ratio of water to rice in 12 minutes.) Apparently Basmati rice has a lower glycemic index than regular white rice. I don't eat gluten, so rice is my go-to to add bulk to meals. The texture of this rice is perfect and it has a light consistency.

Best rice around.  If one follows the directions one will have perfectly fluffy rice.

The bag is nice, too.  We have used the bags for so many things.  (My husband jokes that we will soon have a matching set of luggage.)

This Authentic Royal Naturally Aged Indian White Basmati Rice is excellent quality. The grains cook up long, fluffy, and aromatic every time without becoming sticky. It's perfect for biryani, fried rice, or everyday meals. The 20 lb. bag is a great value, and the taste is consistently fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

BEST QUALITY RICE

OK, lets be honest - it's only rice right?  Well, I have found my favorite rice!  I made my skillet baked dinner AND the cast iron pan ended up so cleaned out I coulda just put it back in the cupboard :):):).  That's some honestly good %26 healthy rice.

Just barely makes the "basmati" category. Sam's Club has been carrying this for too long and the quality of the rice has deteriorated over the years. Time to look for something better - and there are many good choices out there. I am sure you can do better, Sam's Club.
