Prestone Driveway Heat Ice Melt 9.5 lb Jug, 4 ct.

Instructions

Efficient Ice Melting Power
Prestone Driveway Heat is designed to quickly and effectively melt ice, ensuring your driveway is safe to travel on during winter. This concentrated formula comes in a convenient 9.5-lb jug and features calcium chloride pellets that work efficiently to clear snow and ice from necessary areas.
Premium-Grade Hygroscopic Formula
The calcium chloride pellets are crafted with a premium-grade hygroscopic formula that draws moisture from snow and ice, enabling a fast and efficient melting process. This ice melt works in temperatures as low as -25°F, outperforming blended deicers and rock salt for superior results.
No Residue for a Clean Finish
With proper use, Prestone Driveway Heat leaves no powdery white residue behind, keeping your driveway neat and tidy once the snow and ice are gone. Enjoy maximum protection against freezing temperatures while maintaining the appearance of your outdoor spaces.
Enhanced Safety for Winter Conditions
Prestone Driveway Heat helps prevent slipping and falling by providing a reliable solution for icy surfaces. Whether you're clearing your driveway or other outdoor areas, this ice melt ensures safety and peace of mind during harsh winter conditions.

This is great for removing ice %26 snow. I put it on the driveway before snow or turning to ice. It melts it almost immediately

No snow no ice!

Either this is a great deal or a complete rip-off. The header says 40 lb and it's a 4 ct. You might be thinking you are getting a total of 160 lb. but if you look carefully at the label each container is 9.5 lb and it's been rounded up to 10 lbs., which means that instead of 160 lb you're going to receive 40 lb total (4X10 lb).
In my case the product was damaged in shipment and returned to sender. After 2 weeks of not hearing from the vendor (yes, it's sold and shipped by a third party vendor) Sam's agreed to refund the charge.
Before purchasing, it is suggested you find out if you are buying four ten pound containers for a total of 40 lbs or if you are purchasing four cases with each case containing four ten pound containers for a total of 160 lbs.
