We bought this to replace a five year old TV that was having HDMI issues. The TV was perfect out of the box, very easy to set up -- why we always buy Roku.  The colors are almost too intense. The picture is crisp and sharp.  Good sound, but we use surround sound anyway.

Nice TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv from phillips is absolutely amazing! First off it is so sleak & very light for a 50" tv. It has the energy savings guide right on the front of the box which is a nice feature & this tv was really low energy use. When i got the box opened it has the remote & starter guide, need i say it was a super easy set up & i absolutely love the fact that Roku is built right in to the tv. Really this tv has so many great features it was all around a win! It was super easy to mount up on my wall only took a minute, then it was off to set it up which like i said was super quick then on to watching some amazing high quality movies in 4k UHD QLED. Thank you again to Influenster & Phillips for giving me the opportunity to test & own this amazing tv!

Amazing picture quality!

I don't know much about televisions even after reading all the reviews and researching what is supposedly good and bad. I just know what I see, and this picture looks good and the sound is perfect for our room. the TV does have to be within a certain distance from the router, and that was not clear at purchase time. we are happy with it and very happy with the price we paid.

The picture was very vibrant and was easy to see from a distance and from the side of the TV. The sound was okay, but definitely needed a sound bar to get the quality of sound we were looking for. Very impressed!

Good TV at a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s decent for the price - but for a 4K QLED I would expect the image to be a lot better. I cant deny that my 55” HiSense Roku was around the same price (I think I paid around $300 in 2022), had the same menu/capabilities, was larger, and the picture was definitely clearer. My other TV is a 65” Samsung OLED (MUCH more expensive, around $1800) and has great picture quality that is comparable to my HiSense.
                    Overall, It’s not BAD tv, but by no means has “deeper blacks, brighter whites and unbelievably vibrant colors” like described.
                    I think this is a good, affordable option for someone that either:
                    1. Doesn’t notice (or care) about crystal clear picture quality
                    2. Isn’t very tech savy and wants an easy to use Smart/Roku TV.

Affordable but not great

Bought this tv to replace our 65” 4k Vizio that started going dark on one side after about 5 years. I’ve never been more disappointed with the display or picture quality on a tv in my life. We have an old Emerson not smart tv, 1080p that has better picture than this. We’ve tried to update all the picture and display settings as recommended by experts, and it still sucks. The picture is not crisp at all. Text displayed isn’t even clear. It looks bootleg. We’ve tried on cable 4k and several of the built in apps including prime, Disney and Apple. I am so so upset that we now have to unmount this tv, pack it back up, remove car seats from our vehicle, again, drive more than an hour round trip and try to swap it out in hopes of getting something better. Would not recommend this tv at all. The Sam’s rep said Phillips generally had better picture quality than Vizio; however, that is clearly not the case here. When I look at the tv it makes me angry and sad. I wish that I could get past the awful picture to avoid a return but it makes me sick looking at it, especially because it is in our great room and the area we frequent to watch tv as a family. We also bought an lg 65” the same day as it was on clearance to replace our bedroom tv and the picture quality is night and day superior. This Phillips is the worst of the 10 TVs we have in our home and most of our other TVs are 10  years old. I also noticed this tv had a 3 year warranty compared to the Vizio in the same price range having a 5 year warranty. This isn’t worth the sale price

Poor picture quality/not worth it AT ALL

Do not buy! Won’t even turn on after purchasing 3 days ago. Phillips customer service suggested I return to store.  What a huge inconvenience when you have already mounted the tv on the wall and set up.
