Nine Stars Sensor Trash Can, Stainless Steel 21.1 gal

Instructions

The Nine Stars® Sensor Trash Can, Stainless Steel (21.1 gal) is the no-hands future of your kitchen trash can needs. With patented motion sensor technology, this 21-gallon stainless steel kitchen trash can is ideal for people who need to keep a lid on the trash but really don't want to have to touch it.

Due to its large size and hands-free technology, the Nine Stars Sensor Trash Can, Stainless Steel is also perfect for commercial kitchens and clean rooms, keeping the waste contained without ever contaminating your hands and offering a nonporous exterior for easy cleaning and sanitizing. This sleek stainless steel trash can is also great for those who don't choose or have the option of stashing a kitchen trash can in a closet or cabinet.

Why Use an Automatic Kitchen Trash Can?

Your kitchen garbage can offers a good place for harmful bacteria to flourish, not to mention the addition of everyday dirt. Fortunately, you can keep your hands away from the germs with a hands-free trash can. Some touchless cans do the job with a pedal to pop the lid open. Newer high-tech trash cans like the Nine Stars Sensor Trash Can, Stainless Steel can tell when you're getting close and open the lid for you. Since you don't have to touch these kitchen trash cans but to change the bag, there's much less chance of spreading bacteria and grime around your kitchen.

What Features Does It Have?

This sensored kitchen trash can is fun and easy to use. As you approach the front of the sensor area, the lid will open automatically. This gives you enough time to dispose of your trash before it closes automatically. It's equipped with a removable ring liner, a non-skid base, long-lasting battery and a fingerprint-resistant finish.

About Nine Stars Group

Nine Stars Group successfully adopted and patented motion sensor technology for trash cans in 1999. By the year 2005, they had successfully established their first factory in China, set up their first global sales office in New York and grew so quickly that they moved from the northeast to Los Angeles after one year. By 2017, they had opened distribution centers in more Eastern and Western countries, bringing easy kitchen tech to the world.

Step-on Feature

I’ve owned this model trash can for years. When Sam’s Club offered $10.00 off in a sales ad, I bought three more to give to my daughters, who grew up using it. They are great and worth the money, even if they are not on sale. The 21 gallon size is perfect. We use Hefty 30 gallon bags that you can find anywhere. They lift out nicely even when full. Don’t be fooled by similar units, get this model. I highly recommend!

Works great!
Everybody loves using it!

Like the item but I have had to replace a couple of them so this time I purchased a service agreement. I like using it

walmart.com

We all love this one! Just pass your hand in front and like magic it opens. Kinda like a Jetsons cartoon.
The size is great for our large (and messy) family.

Love it!

Great trash can ! Love the large capacity and hands free touch less sensor that allows you to dispose trash without having to lift the lid. We have a large family and this works perfectly .

Simple and elegant

I had purchased a self opening trash can at Sam's ten years ago which was still nice but the self opening function had ceased to work. I was pleased when I saw they were offering this one. Regrettably at 21 gallons it is difficult to find trash bags. A 13 gallon size would have been better.

Weird Size

my lid doesn't work installed batteries 3D
won't open like my old can did how do I exchange this product

upset

I bought this two weeks ago. Took it out the box went and got batteries and it did not work. Call the support line and she told me to get some different batteries and wait 24 hours if the light did not come on call us back. I called them back now I have to email the company and they will send me a new one. Very disappointing. So I will email the company now.

I brought this item a week before Thanksgiving and it stop working and I called customer service and they gave me poor excuse to take out the batteries and wait 24 hrs to reset it and it still will not work. I always do my research before I purchase any items.

Very Awful choice

The lid kept raising halfway and then once it went all the way up, it wouldn’t go down on its own. I’m returning this.

I had one of these for 6 years and then broke.purchased this new one and never worked returned to Ss club after unsuccessful attempts of contacting nine star

Never worked
