Nature Made Iron 65 mg Tablets, 365 ct.

Instructions

Nature Made Iron 65 mg (325 mg Ferrous Sulfate)(1) Tablets are for those with Iron deficiency and are vital for red blood cell formation. This Iron supplement also supports healthy cognitive function. Sourced from high-quality ingredients, this gluten free 65 mg Iron supplement has no synthetic dyes and no artificial flavors. These Nature Made Iron 65 mg tablets provide Iron for premenopausal women that need this essential nutrient during their reproductive years, and help support adequate Iron in the body. 1 in 10 US adult premenopausal women (ages 15-49) are deficient in Iron.

What is Iron?

As an important mineral in your body’s growth and development, iron helps transport oxygen from your lungs throughout your body. Great food sources for iron include lean meat, fish, poultry, molasses, tofu, beans, lentils, spinach, nuts, and fortified cereals.

Who should take iron supplements?

If you have low levels of iron or iron deficiency (as diagnosed by your healthcare professional), supplemental iron should be considered while working with your health care practitioner. Teen girls and women with heavy menstrual cycles face a higher risk of low iron levels, as do pregnant women. Also, if you don’t eat a balanced diet rich in foods containing iron or take iron-depleting medications, you might need an iron-containing supplement.

What are iron supplements good for?

Your body uses iron to produce hemoglobin (a key protein found in red blood cells) that enables red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. Without iron, your body can’t produce enough red blood cells, causing your body tissues to receive less oxygen than they need. Iron is also an essential nutrient for women in their reproductive years.

Adults, for Iron deficiency, take one 65 mg Iron tablet daily with water and a meal. Start your day with Nature Made supplements. USP has tested and verified ingredients, potency, and manufacturing process. USP sets official standards for dietary supplements. Visit the USP verified website for more information. (1)Each tablet contains 65 mg elemental Iron equivalent to 325 mg ferrous sulfate heptahydrate. *Based on a survey of pharmacists who recommend branded vitamins and supplements.

Iron Deficiency Support

I would recommend this Iron supplement to anyone

I have chronic anemia, so I take two of these a day, one in the morning when I get up and one with my last meal and I love them. They keep my iron level above the low mark. If you have iron levels on the low end of normal, I would highly recommend this supplement.

Great supplement!

I purchased the iron because it is a years supply of iron. My doctor ordered iron for me and it cost $27.00 for 100 pills. The Nature Made iron is the same dosage as what was prescribed by my doctor. The Nature Made iron cost me less than $10.00

Prescription ripoff

This Iron supplement is the best price I found on the internet for the same brand, strength and quantity. I like to compare apples to apples so trust me when I say this price beats all other sellers for the same product. You need to be patient though, it took a week to arrive.

Nature Made Iron 65 mg

I take iron for two weeks before donating blood and then two weeks after to build up my blood again.

Iron supplement

Since I take this daily I love that it comes in a large bottle. And you don't have to worry about buying another bottle for almost a year!!! So convenient!

These may work great for the iron value, but they are not coated, have sharp edges, so are difficult to swallow. The membersmark are much better when they are available.

Iron tabs

I tried to take these Nature Made Iron tablets and they made me feel jittery and sick to my stomach. I thought these would be a great buy with 365 tablets for only $10, but I will be going back to the slow release iron tablets that are so much gentler on my stomach.

Would be a great buy

It is really frustrating that their website shows their OLD formula. They changed the formula which contains MCT oil. Medium chain triglycerides from naturemade are derived from coconut oil. So for me, being allergic to coconuts makes this unsafe for me.
What is sad is naturemade doesn't disclose this on their website or product.
They state it's inactive but anyone who is allergic to coconut should know this can potentially be very very unsafe for them!

Why won't naturemade update their website with the new formula?? Also why after 12+ years did they decide to change the formula?? Adding cheap ingredients and include isomalt…??

So disappointed in new formula

naturemade.com

I bought this online a month ago. It came in a box much too large and there was no packing material. It was beating the box when handled. I opened the box and the bottle appeared fine however, the foil top looked like it had been chewed off and the bottom of the lid looked like it had been burnt off. I have never received my supplements in this terrible order from Sams. I intend on returning the bottle and possibly buying another

Always check the lid of supplements before using
