Member’s Mark USDA Choice Angus Beef Eye of Round Steak, priced per pound

<p>USDA Choice Angus Beef Eye of Round Steak is great for a variety of cooking methods. Because it's quite lean, this steak requires care in cooking and preparation to keep it perfectly tender, such as cutting across the grain and cooking it at a lower heat.</p> <h3>What Does Angus Beef Mean?</h3> <p>"Angus" refers to beef from the Aberdeen Angus breed of cow. Originally from Scotland, it's a sturdy breed that became popular due to its ability to produce meat with higher marbling content.</p> <h3>What Does USDA Choice Mean?</h3> <p>The grading system used by the United States Department of Agriculture determines the quality of beef based upon a complicated inspection system that measures the amount of marbling in the ribeye muscle portion, then combines that marbling with the maturity of the beef to determine the USDA grade. The more marbling and the younger the beef, the higher the grade and quality. The fat marbling is what determines tenderness, juiciness and flavor, while the age of the beef determines texture as well as flavor.</p> <br> <h3>Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™</h3> <p>This item meets our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™: Our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment makes it easier to know what is not in our products, so members can feel better about what is. Great for grilling

We needed a large package of round steak to make a nice Beef Stroganoff for our family meal that we serve each week at our Home Group Bible study that we host in our home each Friday night (you are all invited!). We bought two of these and really only needed one, so the other is in my freezer for another night when I will make Beef Oyster for them all and freak them out with the name!

Happy Home Group!

Sam's beef is incredible - much better than any grocery stores. The round steak shown here was purchased to bake. I made Swiss steak with it and also baked steak with gravy. The round steak had very little fat and did up very well in a crock pot.

Lovely Round Steak

These are great. They make meals easy. We use primarily for my kids to make their own lunch when home. Just fry it up in a pan with spices & voila! Healthy meal. We also slice it for fajitas, stir fry & "steak on a stick" for the grill.

Many uses

The meat was fresh, lean, and flavorful. It cooked beautifully and made a delicious meal. The quality exceeded my expectations, especially for the price.

Great Quality Beef

These are a decent cut of meat, if somewhat tough. They do really well in a crock-pot where they get very tender. Good flavor.

Good for cooking in a crockpot

The tops of the package of meat was very pretty and meat worthy. As I started to separate it into smaller packaging, I noticed it was brownish grey underneath; what's with that! Only the top layer was red like beef steak. Is it sprayed with something.

Beef It, Oh Beef It

Steak

Looked so good & I made smothered steak. Sadly they were so tough I could barely cut them with the knife. I'll try again & I'll certainly tenderize 1st.

Angus Ye of the round steaks

Bought these and they were green and yellow under the top layer, got a replacement which was not as bad but still hiding not as bad but still very greying meat. Not worth the price and probably unsafe to eat.
