We have been buying these for years. This is the best brand we have tried, once I found these I looked no further. I am picky about bacon bits, I find most of them to be gross honestly. I keep a bag of these in the freezer at all times. I often fill a small container to keep in the frig, then store the remainder of the bag in the freezer. So simple to throw these in many dishes/meals for that extra flavor boost. Scrambled eggs, omelets, baked potatoes, soups, salads, dips, and much more. You really don't need to add that much to notice the flavor, I love that about them.

Will not buy another brand

I buy bacon bits at other locations saying they are real bacon bits.  Most of the time they are like hard red rocks.  These bacon bits are REALLY real bacon.  They are delicious. Our Sam’s is 30 miles away but I will drive there to get certain items & these are one of those items.

Real bacon pieces.

Bacon bits are the best ones on the market, taste fresh. Add it to a hot pan to warm it up and release some bacon grease to make it taste fresh. My kids love to add this to a salad, or when making Quesadillas. Sprinkle this on any hot meal and it takes the meal to the next level with delicious bacon taste and flavor. I love how big the bag is, able to last for a little bit. Also, the bags are sealed bowl, which keeps it fresh in the fridge for a long time. Highly recommend.

Great flavor, resealable bag making it last long

It’s cooked and crumbled bacon. I eat this by the handfuls, standing in front of my refrigerator, while I try to figure out what I want to cook for dinner.

It’s Top of the Food Pyramid, Now!

I was hesitant to purchase this at first but so glad I did. Good in scrambled eggs, salads, and as flavoring in beans, etc.  So easy and a real time saver without sacrificing taste.

Don’t hold the bacon.

Sooo over cutting and frying strips of bacon for crumbled.   Love opening my bag of crumbles to simply accent fried beans, baked spuds, salad topper,or a mix into ground beef for burger patties.

Such a time and mess saver.

This is a good deal when you want a bacon flavor in your cooking, but don’t need to use actual bacon  strips. Flavor is good. My only complaint was there were a few hard, gristly pieces. I did like the bacon when mixed with scrambled eggs, and green beans.

Bacon Bits

Been shopping at Sam’s a long time. I’ve been buying this bacon for a while and then they changed it to 100% crumbled bacon. And I’ve noticed when I use it. There’s a lot of hard in edible pieces in there. It’s almost like hide. You can’t chew it you have to spit it out. It’s a shame because of this I will end up not buying it anymore. I’ll buy the smaller packs at other stores. Sams Club, please check your quality.

Not sure this is bacon!

That's probably just mediocre, not as good as the original Hormel product.  My wife constantly complains about having to pick out the big hard pieces out of it.  And my kids have to spit out some of the pieces because they're not edible.  This the second time I've purchased this product over the last 5 years, won't purchase again.

Poor product

There was mold all on the inside of the package and the bacon when I opened it. The printed expiration date has not passed and the bag wasn't opened prior to purchase so I am not sure what happened.

Do not recommend. Product was rotten.
