Prong Durability

The bat is really large once put together. Wing span is about 4 ft wide and stands a little over 4 feet tall. Big hit because kids use it take photos in front of it to appear if they have wings. Kids also love the glowing red eyes on the bat. Sturdy base and easy to put together. Instructions were clear and took about 10 mins start to finish.

Great Halloween addition!

So far so good. Looks good. Did struggle a it to put together but at the end it wasn't that bad. We'll see how long it lasts. Sorry pictures aren't that good. Looks better in person.

Looks good.

was normal putting together. works great and bright. we hung on side of house.

looks great!

Pretty easy to assemble and looks cool. I hope it lasts!

As others have said, holes don't align for the bolts, I worked around this by using zip ties instead

Cute and functional

The bat is a great decoration and I love the size. As others have said the execution is poor. The prongs and “component” slots are confusing and hard to put together. I had to bend a couple of the prongs to get them to fit; once i understood the poorly written instructions. Kind of a mess. Yes, these do have to be staked down unless you made some alterations to “component A” (the area where it's all connected to, a pain). I buy lots of sam's holiday decorations and this one has the most confusing decorations yet.

Cool decoration, could use some improvement.

Putting it together is definitely a challenge. The wings have to interlock, and since all of the pieces are wired together for the lighting, it takes far longer than it should to get everything lined up. My guess is that the wiring will eventually break after a few seasons of assembly and disassembly. It looks great once it's up, but be prepared for a frustrating build.

Difficult to build

connectors that hold it together do not line up and are made of metal extremely difficult to bend with your hands to force three pieces to fit to be put together.

metal does not line up- Bad

Super cute. Insanely hard to put together. Nothing fits right. Ended up bend parts and used some zip ties and wire. We may end up mounting it on a painted piece of plywood. Cute, but be warned its madness!

Cute but........

Overall the bat is cool. However, it is by far the worst thing i have ever put together in my life. The prongs don't reach the holes, the spots that the wing nuts have to go in don't line up, %26 i have multiple cuts on my hands now.

Disappointing

very difficult to set up. short wires and all 5 pieces cinnected in same wire makes set up impossible. prongs were bent also and did not line up with mounting. also, if you're thinking about mounting it somehwre in a tree of balcony...no you cannot. the bat has to be mounted onto the geound stake unit. great idea poor deaign. love the size also.
