Member's Mark Pinto Beans, 12 lbs.

Instructions

<p>Member's Mark™ Pinto Beans are more than just your average bean. Triple cleaned to ensure absolute quality, these beans are ready to take your culinary creations to new heights. Originating from the versatile common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), the pinto bean has carved out a special place in the hearts of many food lovers around the world.</p> <h3>A Staple in Mexican and Southwestern United States Cuisines</h3> <p>In Northern Mexico and the Southwestern United States, the pinto bean holds the title as the most popular bean by crop production. It's no surprise why. With its robust flavor and satisfying texture, it's a bean that holds its own in a variety of dishes. In Spanish, these beans are affectionately known as "frijoles pintos."</p> <h3>Versatile and Delicious</h3> <p>The beauty of the pinto bean lies in its versatility. Enjoy them whole for a hearty bite, sometimes served in a warm, comforting broth. Alternatively, mash them for a smooth, creamy texture that's perfect for refrying. Whether you're filling burritos, topping tostadas, or stuffing tacos, pinto beans are a staple in Mexican cuisine. They also shine as a side dish or as part of an entrée in New Mexican cuisine, ideally served with a side of tortillas or a fluffy sopaipilla.</p> <h3>Certified Quality</h3> <p>Above all, quality and safety are our top priorities. That's why our pinto beans are not only kosher certified but also Non-GMO Project Verified. So you can trust that you're getting a product that's been produced with care and consideration for both your health and the environment.</p> <br> <h3>Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™</h3> <p>This item meets our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™: Our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment makes it easier to know what is not in our products, so members can feel better about what is. We simplify the choice for our members by setting a high brand standard for the products they bring into their homes. We use a lot of Beans at our home. We use them for Chilli and Beans and ham/bacon. I buy these large bags so I don't run out so fast. They are economical in these days of high food prices. The previous bags were plastic that was easy to fold over and tape closed. These bags are not the same material. Luckily I have a few half gallon Jars that worked great to put them in. These beans are easy to prepare in Instant Pot in about an hour. They have good flavor and great health benefits.

New Bag is Not Quality material

These are very clean beans. They're mych lighter in color, i believe that's due to the cleaning process and it makes for thinner skin on the beans.
Very nice.

Love these beans

I love to make bean dip with my pinto beans.

These members mark pinto beans cooked well and are delicious. It is a great product and price compared to the amount and price at the supermarket. The beans had no pebbles, dirt or rocks and made it really easy to wash and cook. I highly recommend these pinto beans. I am making a pot of beans now and my kitchen smells delicious.

Delicious Pinto beans

Had to make a big pot of beans for my company dinner

Good price for the product

Pinto beans

i think it takes a long time to sort through the beans. there is a lot of small pieces, skin, and broken beans. it's still cheaper to cook the beans than buy them made. but do they make it difficult to make the choice.

sorting

Found too many broken beans, had to spend time cleaning

awesome

They used to be good quality. Recently, there has been a ridiculous amount of loose skin flakes. Im pulling out almost a tablespoon of skin flakes per cup. No longer a quality product, will shop elsewhere for beans. picture is what I pulled from about 2.5 cups

Have gone down in quality

Beans taste bad when you cook them; they taste like you're eating dirt—very unpleasant.
