For Dogs

The warmth that radiants from this heater is amazing. We love to entertain and somehow even in 40 degree weather our guest find their way outside. This heater makes them warm and comfy. The lit table top is like a cherry on top!

Patio Perfected

We spend a lot of time out on our porch and sometimes we go out in quick, short, sprints. So we don’t leave the heat lamp on really long but it still does the job. Great immediate heat coverage. Our dogs even give this product the paws up!

We love our new super heat lamp!

There were a few cool nights and everyone was coming to our house for Christmas Eve. Two days ahead, while shopping at Sam’s I decided to purchase one of these. The fact that there was a $20 discount made the purchase even easier. I bought two propane tanks and rushed home to set it under before the night set in.

The assembly was straightforward and the instructions were spot on. They call the finish bronze but it is a powder coated finish in brown. Very nice looking instead of being just a stainless finish. The circular illuminated drink table glows nicely when switched on.

He’s output is fantastic! After being turned on I had to lower the temperature to a minimum setting. Very comfortable sitting 8’ away from the unit. I suppose where you may set this up will have an effect on your comfort level. Our location is somewhat protected from wind. Our porch where we have using this is outside the house where two sides of the room are open to the elements.

Love it!

Very chilly winter in Florida this year, have used it quite a few times already. It warms up my lanai, I love the lighted table. Got it on sale, good bang for the buck, highly recommend.

NEEDED THIS IN FLORIDA THIS WINTER

This is a nice-looking heater which took approximately one hour to assemble. It gives off a lot of heat and is easily moved from place to place. The cover included is of no use as it does not fit the heater at all, thus the 4-star rating instead of 5.

Good Buy

I bought one and used it for about 15 minutes and loved it. It gave a nice heat all around and I was really impressed. So I bought a 2nd one. Only this time, I used it during a evening with friends and both gave 10-15 minutes of heat, off a full tank, only 16 minutes in, the flames on both kept getting smaller and smaller and you had to put your hands 6 inches from the screen to feel the heat. I was puzzled and looked at the tanks, but both of them were frozen to the top so not producing gas fast enough to be effective. I tried again the next day, only turned the heat down instead of Max. It worked, but much less range was covered and if you weren't right next to it, it was useless. After 15 minutes, the flames started going down again. So I went and bought a brand new tank, thinking it was the exchange bottles that were the problem. I bought a really nice tank new, had it filled... Only to have the exact same issue. So I contacted Sam's about support. They said someone would get with me in 2-5 days. Day 6, I called again, told the same thing... We are now over a month and can't get anyone to support it, tell me what I'm doing wrong, or even tell me that the device is only good for about 10 minutes of use... ANYTHING would be nice to know.

The only way I got it to work for more than 10-15 minutes was using it on the lowest setting on a 72 degree day. It still froze up, but it took an hour. I really don't need a heater on a 72 degree day, so I guess they are going to the dump since I no longer have the boxes. Sadly when I bought the 2nd one, it was trash night and they all went the next morning before I learned that I'd have a problem after 15 minutes.

If you need a heater on a hot day, these are for you! If it's something stupid I'm doing wrong, I wished there was support to tell me. But when I google/chatgpt it, they both point to an issue with the heater itself. So sadly, I just wasted $400 that I didn't have to waste.

Great! For 10 minutes, then, it's terrible.

I ordered 2. Both boxed looked fine on delivery, but the bases of both heaters had some scratches out of the box, and one of the poles that connects the base to the burner was bent out of round so that the table wouldn't fit over it and it wouldn't attach to the burner.

I've tried calling the support number in the manual several times, but either get put on permahold, or sign up for a call-back that never comes.

That said, the one I was able to assemble works well. Would change to 4-5 star review if I could get a part to make the other one work.

Parts damaged on arrival

Sadly, I am returning this item. It works well (when it works). The ignite switch rarely worked. Very frustrating when it's cold outside and you keep clicking the "ignite" button and nothing happens.

Maybe I just got a bad heater

came damaged and have not received an exchange; after contacting sam's twice and waiting 2-4 business days like they said, they still have not sent an email or called to help in the return and/or exchange

came damaged

Bought December of 24, January 26 doesnt stay lit, tried multiple full propane tanks. Have a few other patio heaters that these tanks work fine on. Not worth it in my opinion

13 months and failed
