These better muffin bars are excellent! They only have 6g of added sugar, so I don’t mind the kids grabbing one sometimes for a snack, but I also like them and they work well on days I miss lunch to tie me over. The texture is genuinely like a muffin, with just a bit of oats. The blueberry flavor  is great, but surprisingly to me, because I don’t really like banana flavored things, the banana is actually my favorite. Tastes like banana bread and not a fake/processed taste. I really like these and would recommend them to anyone.

Surprisingly excellent snack!

This bar tastes like a blueberry or banana muffin… both flavors are on point and don't have a synthetic taste to them. It's like a muffin but in bar form and way better for you. It’s soft and chewy, not dry or crumbly, the blueberry flavor is juicy and the banana one has thr natural sweetness of banana. Basically, it tastes like breakfast and dessert combined. 

I like that each bar is made with real fruit and simple ingredients, so you’re getting a snack that’s actually doing something good for you. I also love that it is gluten free, but it doesn't taste like it at all.

Tasty healthy muffins bars

These are the best GF breakfast bars I have ever had. They are soft and actually taste like bananas and blueberries. I am really hoping that Sam's restocks them, because I went back to buy another box and they were gone. If you are GF and want a good tasting product, if you see these, buy them!

Great breakfast bar!

I think i may be the only person in my house that likes these. I think they're pretty good. Flavor and texture wise, they remind me of a nutragrain bar, but without the filling. Nutrition wise they're not bad. There are better and worse options out there so these fall somewhere in the middle for me

Good

Delicious muffin bars. The box had a mix of blueberry and banana bread flavored. The blueberry bars were great. I don't normally like banana but they were really good also. The bars a soft and have a good chew to them. They didn't not Crumble or fall apart. The were moist without being wet. I like them better than most other bars I have purchased.

Very good flavor and texture

I recently tried these bars, and overall, I’d say they were interesting and worth checking out if you’re curious. The first thing I noticed is that they definitely taste like a protein bar. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re expecting a more traditional snack or bakery-style flavor. For me, the taste wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it also wasn’t unpleasant—it just took a little adjusting.

Between the two flavors I tried, I preferred the banana muffin over the blueberry. The banana muffin had a slightly sweeter flavor that reminded me more of an actual baked good. The blueberry, on the other hand, felt a little less balanced and more artificial in taste. Texture-wise, both were surprisingly soft and easy to chew, which I appreciated because some bars can be dense or chalky.

Not the  est snack but worth to check out

I picked up the Member’s Mark Better Muffin Bars not really knowing what to expect, and I’ve got to say they’re a pleasant surprise.

The blueberry bars are fruity and sweet without tasting fake. The little drizzle on top makes them feel more like a treat than just another snack bar. The banana bread bars were my personal favorite—they’re softer, a little richer, and have that warm banana flavor that pairs perfectly with coffee or tea. They almost remind me of homemade banana bread, just in a more portable form.

What I like:

Both flavors actually taste different (not just “sweet with a hint of something”).

Soft and chewy texture that doesn’t crumble everywhere.

Individually wrapped, so they stay fresh and are easy to grab on the go.

The banana bread flavor feels comforting, almost like a mini baked good.

What could be better:

They lean a little sweet—if you’re not into sugary snacks, the drizzle might feel over the top.

Not quite as moist as a fresh muffin (these are closer to a soft granola bar than a bakery muffin).

If you eat more than one, they can feel a bit heavy.

Overall, they’ve earned a spot in my pantry. They’re not a perfect replacement for a warm muffin out of the oven, but they’re a solid option when you need something quick, filling, and still a little indulgent.

Convenient, tasty, but not without a few quirks

The Member's Mark Better Muffin Bars come in a two pack containing 12 bars each.  They are packaged well so they do not arrive crumbled or squished.  They are made with whole grains - rolled oats, oat flour, sorghum flour and quinoa flakes. The sweeteners from what I can tell are fig paste, sorghum, tapioca and cane syrup in addition to blueberry and banana (depending on your bar).  I would not describe them as sweet.  The texture is very dense. They have 4 grams of protein.  They do a good job of tasting like a nutrition bar, but not a muffin.

The muffin bar is oatmeal dense, and heavy. The blueberry bar tastes like blueberry, the banana bar tastes like banana. I was very excited to have these, I love blueberries and bananas.

only OKAY muffin bar.

These taste terrible. I’m not sure why they’re rated as well as they are. There’s a weird chemical “zing” to them, they just don’t taste good. The banana is slightly better than the blueberry but I’d rather just eat a handful of dry oatmeal. Yuck.

Taste awfully artificial
