Member's Mark All Butter Sandwich Croissants, 12 ct.

There's nothing that goes better with every holiday meal, special occasion or family gathering than classic sandwich croissants. Our croissants have that same old-fashioned flavor and texture that's been part of family meals and memories for generations. These croissants are not only great for an accompaniment to your meals, they also make great sandwiches.

What are Member’s Mark All Butter Sandwich Croissants Made of?

Each Member’s Mark butter croissant is made with a layered yeast-leavened dough. The dough is pinched and layered with butter before being expertly rolled and folded. After this process is completed, the dough is placed onto a large baking sheet and baked to a flaky, fluffy golden-brown.

A Versatile, Buttery Delight

Enjoy the rich, flaky perfection of Member’s Mark All Butter Sandwich Croissants—light, fluffy, and delicious any time of day. Warm them to enhance their fresh-baked aroma, and pair with rich and creamy Kerrygold Salted Butter Sticks for an irresistible treat. Perfect for breakfast sandwiches, party platters, or simply alongside coffee or tea, these croissants are as versatile as they are indulgent. This 12-count pack offers plenty to share with family and friends—or to savor throughout the week.

Where Did Croissants Originate?

Although croissants are often thought of as a French pastry, they actually originated in Austria. This popular pastry, named for its unique crescent shape, is a breakfast staple in Austria, France and many other parts of Europe. They can be found plain, stuffed with chocolate and other fillings or used to make a wide range of sandwiches. While many croissants found in bakeries today are baked from frozen dough, Member’s Mark All Butter Sandwich Croissants are made fresh for your enjoyment.

What is Member’s Mark?

Member’s Mark is a Sam’s Club brand that serves high-quality products but with member pricing. The line of food features items with different premium qualities from convenient packaging and eco-friendly packaging to organic ingredients and fair-trade ingredients.

Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™

This item meets our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™: Our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment makes it easier to know what is not in our products, so members can feel better about what is. The cooking instructions are somewhat unhelpful because if you did what they asked you'd end up with very well done croissants. If you want flakey croissants that don't teeter or being burnt, do the following:

1. preheat to 375
2. stack two sheet pans and put the croissants with ample space on top of the second
3. bake for 13 minutes
4. turn temp down to 300
5. cook for another 10 minutes or until done

this will ensure you get an evenly baked and puffed out croissant without overdoing it

Amazing

I enjoy shopping at Sam's because i find everything i need for my family. There are always great products & prices. Staff members are friendly and greeting you with a smile. Bakery Department gets 10 stars!!!

Get it hot off the press!!!

These are the best commercially made croissants you can buy. They are soft, flaky, and buttery. My daughter begs me to buy them every time we are in Sam's.

Excellent Croissants

I bought the crescent on Dec 3rd, they had a use by date of Dec 5th, and they were already going stale. They were dry and not flakey at all. The one I ate I tried to warm in the microwave to soften, but did not work. The price on the large rack was reduced. I know why. Not good.

Usually great, not this time.

even though they are baked in the store, they just tasted old and not fresh. I am a croissants lover: it's my bread weakness. However, these were not a value. IMO

Not too good

Well, they had been my favorite, but this time, they were stale, birds and dogs ate them, i hate a couple because I was hungry. From now on I will check on the date. I had asked if they had fresh ones but I would have had to wait a longtime. Totally disappointed. I should have brought them back.

Member's Mark All Butter Sandwich Croissants, 12 c

The croissants in Sam's Club have changed. They are now overcooked, dry, Dark and crusty. They used to have a golden, light and fluffy, flaky texture. But not anymore! This has happened in all of the Sam's Clubs in our area. We continue to buy them (occasionally), but not as often as before. The price is less than the local market or the bakery.

Croissants Have Changed

I had purchased these before and they were great. Made a second purchase, but ordered them online to be picked up at the store later that afternoon. I ended up having to throw 75% of them away after day 1 despite them being put into an air tight container from mold!!!

Spoiled In one day

These used to be my favorites. They were light, fluffy, moist, golden brown, and would melt in your mouth. I always bought them and would have one on the ride home.

Then they changed them a few months ago. Now they are dense, dry, and over baked. Same story at the Cheektowaga and Niagara Falls clubs.

Please go back to the old recipe.

From excellent to lousy...

These used to be my go to for sandwiches and when I was having guests over for dinner. In the past I would have rated these 5 stars, but when I ordered these for pickup for Christmas Eve, I asked if I could have them made not too dark. I had noticed when I’d walk by the baked goods they seemed to be much darker than in the past. The woman taking my order said a company rep advised the bakers the batches had to be darker. Well guess what? That’s why they are sitting on the shelves instead of selling out. Now, within one day because they are so crispy they flake off and break apart. They are now too dry. You can’t even order them to be lighter and fresher. Why is some rep requiring them to be overdone?

Change these back
