This shelf is an outstanding storage solution for garages, basements, or even business inventory. The size is perfect — wide and deep enough to hold large bins, bulk household items, tools, or resale inventory without feeling flimsy or overcrowded.

Assembly was straightforward and didn't require complicated tools. The shelves feel extremely sturdy once fully assembled, and the adjustable shelf heights are a huge bonus. You can easily customize the spacing depending on what you're storing — from small boxes to large totes.

What really stands out is the durability. The frame feels solid and stable, even when fully loaded. It's heavy-duty enough to handle significant weight without bowing or wobbling.

Overall, this shelf delivers excellent value for the price. If you need reliable, industrial-style storage that maximizes vertical space, this is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Heavy Duty

The shelves assemble very easily and they are strong connections. I put 4 of these in my garage and they make all the difference in the world. I've looked at many other similar shelves but for the price at Sam's these can't be beat. They can be configured several ways too. It isn't required to have them 72" tall by 48" wide.

VERY Nice Shelves

Easy to assemble in the configuration I desired. Would be nice if the post legs had adjustable feet for unlevel floors. Overall, shelf does what it is supposed to do.

Shelf review

These are great garage shelves. They were super easy to build and you can fit a ton on them, we put a full sized cooler on a shelf and it fit depth-wise, no problem. As soon as I put them up my husband said, "we should get another one." They look really nice.

Great Garage Shelves

Great shelf for the money , using it as a pantry and it looks great and holds all that we need it to. Very easy to assemble. I almost didn’t buy because of some of the reviews but glad I did, if you follow directions , use a rubber mallet and two people , piece of cake !

Great shelf for the money

For the price, this is an amazing value. The fact that it’s modular is even better. This is the second one I purchased, and I didn’t even realize it was modular until I was assembling the second one. I will definitely buy another to complete my garage setup. Way better than the “cheaper” ones I did away with when I got these.

They are pretty sturdy as well.

Only potential negative I see is that the shelves are wood based(particle?) and if you use it to store liquids on, if they leak it would potentially damage them. But, for the price, you can’t expect metal shelves.

Great value and quality!

I ordered 30 of them for my barn. I was a little dissapointed in how flimsy the fiberboard shelves feel and am hoping they do not sag, buf otherwise I think they are a good shelf for the price. Definitely helps to assemble on a flat surface because it feels flimsy until its fully assembled and can be difficult to pop into place if not level.

Good quality overall, I hope they dont sag!

They are now shipping a black shelf that has a different joining piece. The original gray shelf had metal inserts that joined the upper and lower sections. The new black version has small plastic inserts that require a shelf to be placed between the upper and lower section to hold it together. This new design doesn’t allow you to place all the shelves where you need them for your situation.

Bait and switch

Poor crafmanship. Rubber feet did not slide into the metal rod pieces, I managed to get one foot in but it was near impossible to accomplish. I gave up assembly and returned to store. Also, not a review about the product itself, but some wood components of the racking were damaged upon delivery. Dozens of better options out there!

Poor build quality, do not purchase.

These shelves are dangerous when connected as one shelf unit. The connectors are small plastic pieces that can allow the upper half to pull over.....think children. I ended up using these in half units for piece of mind. A competitor has the same type shelving unit that connects with 4 inch metal connectors that lock into place. Surprised that Sam’s has not identified this as a safety issue.

Customer has safety issue with this product.
