I've been living for the past 7 years with an all in one washer/dryer combo that was ventless and I can't believe I've been living a life like that. Loads were taking 3+ hours to complete. Luckily it finally gave out and I got the LG Washtower (VENTED) and it was the best decision I had ever made. My wife and I did 6 loads of laundry in a single day where as with the all in one ventless, that would not be possible ever. The Washtower has a huge capacity for both washer and dryer and the app that helps you keep track of maintenance is a Godsend. The machine also doesn't make much noise when in operation as my older one did. I highly recommend this machine to anyone in the market looking for a high quality machine.

From an All in One Washer Dryer Combo to this

We've had this tower for just a few weeks but love it so far. We installed it in our garage so the notifications it sends us is helpful to let us know when the cycle completes.

Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wash tower is fantastic!!! It is fast, effective, quiet and ever since my builder corrected his duct error, the dryer is better than my old full-size at getting items compketly dry!!! The tower washes my throw rugs & comforters effectively with no vibration & the only noise - the "ta da da da da dah" to announce it is finished! Absolutely love it!

Love it!!!

Researched for the best stacking washer and dryer, and this L G was highly recommended. We absolutely love it. Works great, no vibration and is fast. Very pleased with our purchase. The green color is really nice.

Perfect!

Beautiful laundry tower. So quiet and efficient. Some of our clothes seemed cleaner. My husband likes that he can keep track of washing and drying cycles on his phone. Highly recommend!

Love our laundry tower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with this purchase. Our laundry gets super clean, and the whites are bright. it is efficient and easy to use. We really like the design with the center controls for easy reach, and the unit is visually appealing. I feel it was reasonably priced.

We love our LG Washtower!

My wife and I really like this washer and dryer. They are quiet and our clothes come out beautifully.
We are 73 years old and have a hard time getting down and retrieving our wash out of the washing machine. I wish they could manufacture a pedestal so it is not so difficult get the wash out.

Does its job very well.

This machine is incredibly complicated to use. To change some of the most basic wash cycles you have to utilize the app on your phone. I’m standing in front of the watchtower. Why do I need to go get my phone to change the cycle?
Even changing some of the most basic items requires researching on Google to figure out how to make the changes.

2 years with the LG wash tower

Washer comes with damage to the door right in front.

The unit itself washes my clothes great, has fun features and works fine. However, paying full price for a new product to receive it with damage from factory is completely unacceptable. I've seen issues with multiple products so I don't trust the quality of LG. Avoid unless you're okay receiving damage products with no accountability from LG.

Damage Product from Factory

I have never had buyer's remorse as much as getting this appliance. I will start with the good points. I washes and dry's just fine. It's also quiet because of the direct drive. What puts me off is the utter lack of thinking through how this machine should control. This dumbest complaint I have is how long you have to hold a button down just to have the light come on. I know how that sounds, but I think it's also a quick example that shows the lack of thinking things through. A bigger issue is that I want to customize my cycles. In other words, the "Normal" setting is not to my liking on either wash or dry setting. There's a setting within the phone app, that allows you to have the machine "learn" what your favorite setting are, so it has the ability to change it's settings, but why not just allow me option to "save" the features I want to default. You took easy programming and made it more complicated for some reason. The annoying part about this smart learning, is that if you do a couple loads that aren't your normal preferred settings, then it changes your settings once again. Also the fact that you cannot adjust the heat setting on Normal for drying is absolutely insane, and once again, for a timed dry, I have to change the settings every single time because there is no way for the machine to save timed dry's at all. Yes, you can download one wash and one dry cycle to a "download" button, but this only allows you to pick from a list of programs they have made. Once again, why not allow a "customize" cycle that allows me to pick the setting I want to choose and save it. I think this washer is for people who don't know how to best wash and dry their own clothes so they like the idea of a setting called "sweat stains" or "whites" to just know how it's best to clean their clothes because they aren't sure what temp you should wash at or how long you should dry for. This machine would be a 10 if the controls work well, but in my opinion, being able to wash and dry is the baseline minimum and the interaction with the machine is 9/10 what makes it enjoyable to use as long is it works and doesn't brake down. This machine is painfully unenjoyable to interact with. I'm repeating myself, but making a system that allows for the default settings to change, but doesn't allow you to manually make and save those settings yourself is beyond baffling. Also, this can only be done to the normal cycle. the other 4 cycles cannot learn new defaults, and in my opinion, are baffling choices to have a defaults. There is no "Whites" default cycle, that should be a gimme. I thought having a cycle that you can permanently download would be cool, but when the default cycles already on the machine are not one's you want to use, only having one downloadable cycle becomes not enough.
