I also bought a LG dishwasher four years ago and that is also whisper quite. My old units were on there last legs and these were definitely a great upgrade. I highly recommend LG for replacements appliances!

After 25 years I replaced my old dryer with the LG DLG7001W.  I was a little intimidated at first with all the digital technology but after using it I have to say I am very impressed.  This dryer is so quiet and dries your clothes completely in a short amount of time which saves on the gas bill.  The dryer is large which accommodates bedding very well.  I like the lint filter on the inside as compared to the top in my old dryer.  The lint sensor is also helpful when you forget to clean it out.  So far I love this dryer and am very  happy I chose this model.

Fantastic

Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG gas dryer is the workhouse I needed for bedding, small area rugs, and other bulky items.  I have the matching washer and they make a great set.  The capacity is rated at 7.3  cubic feet and it fits those bulky comforters and bedding with ease.  
I like the auto dry sensor that prevents excessive drying, when it detects no or minimal moisture it just shuts itself off.  
There are plenty of settings and the unit runs smooth and quiet.  I went with the gas version for more efficient energy usage.

I would not hesitate to recommend this dryer.

Great for bulky items

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace out tired ancient dryer. Installation was a simple DIY. Intuitive controls, didn’t have to read the manual for basic drying. Very quiet. Dries fast. Love the large drum even when only partly full.

LG dryers is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this just 2 weeks ago. Like the features. HomeDepot installation team gave some hiccups by not installing it property but the unit is good. Love the features but hasn't experienced it for long time.

Nice dryer

I have been very happy overall with this machine. Looks great, I love that it plays a song when it's dry so that I know it's time to take the clothes out. The only thing I will say is that I have had to use my 3 year extended warranty to fix the control board (kept dryer when clothes were already dry). However, the technician was great. I would've been upset had I not purchased extended warranty.

I purchased this a month ago. This model was not available on the show room floor. I do not like the fact that the door either opens to the right or left depending on how you set it up. I do not like this feature at all as I am tired, already, of picking up my laundry off the laundry room floor as many items fall out when door is open and while pulling items out others fall to the floor. Also, on normal dry things do not seem to be that dry.  I use Heavy Duty dry to make sure my laundry is dry. My drier vent is clear as I cleared it before new drier was installed.

Not what I expected

The Sam's Club service was good, but the dryer itself turned out to be a very bad guy. The sensors on this don't work well and the clothes are left down after the first cycle and I have to read run the dryer to get the clothes to be really dry. I don't recommend buying this product.

Don't buy. Sensors don't dry fully.
