Everything works great in the first month, but I bought a warranty due to past reviews that said the linear compressor fails within 1 to 3 years. Hopefully LG made modifications to prevent the compressor failure.

So far so good.

Great so far, but the door chime comes way to quickly

New fridge

lg.com/ca

Tons of space. Love the wide storage capability in the refrigerator section! Nice feature of two freezer drawers.

Space

We really like our fridge and it is HUGE. If you have a large family or regularly fill your fridge up, this is the one for you. The one drawback we have is the ice maker. Yes, it is a slim design, which allows for so much of the extra room....but the ice output is not sufficient for a large family. There are six of us and we have run out of ice a few times already. Even though the specs say it can create over 100 cubes/day, the cubes are very small and melt quickly. We bought a counter top ice machine and store ice in the provided ice tray in the top freezer drawer.

Great Fridge; insufficient ice

The interior space is quite adequate and with the ice maker in the door, there is even more room. Still don't know if I like the split freezer drawers for which there is no lighting for the lower drawer. Set the fridge temperature to 34, the lowest ithas ever gotten is 36, but usually it is 37 or 38. I have a digital thermometer inside 2 sandwich bags which are placed inside a plastic cup of water placed on the top shelf. This is the preferred method to measure temperature. It is a remote thermometer, with the display mounted to the outside of the fridge. I wish the LG display panel could display the actual interior temperature. Still getting used the the crisper drawers handles being on the bottom. The interior lighting needs redesigned to also have lighting on the sides for lighting of the lower shelves. It took 2 days to cool down after initial set up. It runs quietly. This model does have a Wi-Fi connection with minimal options.

lg.com

We're loving our new LG French door fridge so far - the interior space and layout is excellent, but the freezer section is a bit smaller than what we had previously. The water and ice dispenser is working great with good flow. The instructions for connecting the water supply were not as straight forward as they could be - better labesls on the fridge iteself would have been helpful and it was difficult to find a video corresponding to our model #. Once we purchased an adapter kit we were good to go.

Excellent interior fridge layout and space

I like the refrigerator. Shelves are deep. There is lots of storage. The only ice maker is in the door, so this is limiting. I somehow thought the container for ice in the top freezer door provided separate ice capacity. My complaint.... the top freezer door handle was not installed properly. The first time the handle was pulled, it came loose and the edge gouged the front of the refrigerator. I have been in touch with LG... but this was reported to Sam’s Club in less than 24 hours. There has not been resolution. Beware of delivery services. Frustrating ....

Frig great if completely assembled, handles secure

The tech that delivered it spent an hour trying to fix the problem. He was in touch with Sam's tech, whom I talked with. He gave me 3 options and we chose to keep the fridge and wait for a replacement. I am still waiting. I need to know if it was ordered and when it will be delivered. I am not a happy customer right now.

Great fridge but arrived defective on July 24.

Compressor is loud, buttons for ice and water do not light up which is inconvenient at night which is something i would look for in future purchases. Good amount of storage, love the double freezer doors.

Loud compressor

Was going great until it just stopped cooling, and the Thin Q app did not catch it at first. It was about a week behind. When I contacted LG's customer service, they informed me it was a sealed system failure and that it just went out of warranty 2 months prior so if they sent someone out it would be all on us. Tried to find someone to service, and all of the local shops do not work on LG or Samsung appliances. So im stuck with a big decorative appliance now. I purchased this in 2021 through Sam's Club with the extended warranty. Shouldn't have bothered! I will be getting rid of LG in my home. I also tried to post a review on LG about this product and how unreliable it is and they refused to post it, so be aware all the high ratings on LG's website is not an accurate depiction of the item. I wonder how many other reviews like mine were stopped?

Sealed System Failure Nightmare!
