Thank you SAMS Club Tinley Park for doing an excellent job decorating this cake. I bought an extra toy set because my child wanted a specific one so we had two! It's a great value for a big party. Kids were happy.

Great Cake from Tinley Park

This cake was beautiful and delicious! It's always moist. Best of all, it was affordable and fed well over 40 people with several people getting seconds and thirds. Sam's in Florence is always my go to for cakes!

Amazing

This was my first time ordering a cake from Sam’s. The online order process was so simple. The cake tasted AMAZING. It was exactly like the picture. I will not order birthday cakes from anywhere else!

Amazing taste

I couldn't decide between vanilla or chocolate, so I went with the swirl. It was a huge hit with the kids and parents at my son's party. I was worried about the moisture level for the cake, since it was a single layer (the "other guys" do double layer with a ganache layer), but I was not disappointed. The cake was super moist, and the frosting was not sicky-sweet. And the dinosaur theme was pretty cool, too.

A big hit!

Cake was cute but it didn't look anything like the advertised cake. They didn't have the Dino cake topper in stock so they printed out a Jurassic photo on the cake. That was fine except the whole rest of the cake wasn't iced the way the way it shows online. There was no greenery, no rocks, etc. just a blue border around the printed Dino picture.  

Cute but not at all as advertised. Had I known, I would have just picked a different cake. I was called 30 minutes prior to pickup and the morning of my son's birthday and told that the topper wasn't available.. never mentioned the cake was completely different. Never mentioned it to me even when I picked it up.

Not as advertised

Cake tasted horrible, film topper made it taste like you were eating a piece of a bandaid. Ordered a marble cake that was very disappointing, the ratio of chocolate to vanilla was minimal and the flavor was subpar. Lastly, the cake design was not like the picture itself,it looked like someone put their own twist to what they felt it should look like.

Jurassic Don’t

First I want to say the cake was delicious. However I am upset by the fact that I did not get the cake decorated as agreed to and got no discount or anything but a “Oh well, sorry, can’t do anything for you”. I originally tried to order a cake with dinosaur decorations that I had purchased and just wanted a cake decorated with an appropriate background. I was told Sam’s could not do this and my only option was to get their Jurassic Park cake so I agreed. This was ordered on Monday to pick up at 11:00 on Saturday. At 10:15 on Saturday I received a call stating the decoration did not come in and all they could provide was cake with border and a pre-printed sheet with Dino footprints. I was forced to use Sam’s decorations for my cake then advised 45 minutes prior to picking it up that the decoration did not come in the prior day and there was nothing they could do about it. Had I been advised of this on Friday when it did not come in I would have had time to make other arrangements but with only 45 minutes notice I had no option but to stick with an undecorated cake

Disappointed with Decoration

If I could give this cake 0 stars I would. Looked NOTHING as pictured. Only half of my cake had the green print on it.

False advertisement

One of the bakery workers helped me input in the cake order and upon picking up the cake we found that it was sent/ordered to a different location. They just said you can go and pick it up at the other location on the day of the party. And they said I could get a refund from the other location as well. Haven’t seen the refund yet!!

Cake was sent to the wrong bakery

I ordered whipped icing and received buttercream instead. The icing was so sweet no one was able to eat it. Most of the cake went into the trash. It was for my grandchilds 2nd birthday. If I purchase any other cake I will make sure the type of icing on there is correct.
