Hood Pear Tree, #5 Pot

<p>Hood pears are a large, soft fruit that ripen in late summer. The pears are greenish-yellow, crisp&nbsp;and juicy, and can be eaten fresh or canned. The Hood Pear tree has a low chill for the South, requiring only 100-200 chill hours. Flordahome is the recommended pollinator. Hood Pear trees are, however, susceptible to leaf spot and fire blight. At maturity, they can reach a height between 15-20 feet and a width of 12-15 feet. USDA Zones: Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9.</p>

This tree came with lots of leaves. Planted in the front yard and it looks happy

This tree arrived in not so perfect health.  Black & green leaves.  Looked to have been frozen.  May have left overnight in a shipping truck.  Planted it and keeping my fingers crossed.

Hood Pear Tree

Plant was overwatered for shipping I think. within days the leaves all turned yellow and dropped off. I am still fighting to see if it will survive.

Arrived with leaves covered 90% in leaf blight and unknown fungus.

I also, had the same issue. This came in covered with leaf bite, like I'd never seen before.  Im still itching
