Document Print Quality

My old HP printer was giving me problems, likely due to system upgrades and the fact that it was getting old! I decided to try an ink tank printer and the HP Bot suggested this one. My husband and I set it up. It took very little time although we had to use the electrical cord from our old printer in order to plug it in. The new one wouldn't go into the port on the printer. After solving that dilemma, the rest was easy. I have had no trouble with it since. It does double sided printing beautifully and print quality is excellent.

Reliable Printer

hp.com

I hesitated buying a tank printer because of concerns about print quality. I am not sure where or why that concern developed but it was wrong. I am pleasantly surprised that the print quality is very acceptable for just daily use for personal printing for the household. The next question will be the length of service before there needs to be some kind of cleaning or repair and time will tell.

Pleasantly surprised .....

I was a little nervous about dealing with the ink bottles, but setup was honestly so easy and not messy at all. I’ve been really happy with the printer so far. Everything was simple to get up and running, and I really like the HP app and how intuitive it is to use.

I also print on a lot of smaller paper sizes, especially 4x6 and 5x7 cards, as well as 5x7 photo paper, and it’s all been really easy to figure out and switch between. Overall, it’s been super user-friendly and has handled everything I’ve wanted to print without any hassle.

Easy Setup, No Mess, Great for Different Paper Sizes

Connecting to my home network was a bit challenging. I had to reboot the router several time before the connection was made. Otherwise, setup went great. Printer works well with apple devices including iphone, ipad and imac. Paper tray holds more paper than most printers in this size and price range. Double sided printing works well. I have not printed photos yet, but text documents look great. Very happy with this printer so far.

Great printer so far

I love that the set up of my new Hp 7000 was fairly easy. I did stumble a bit as I went along, but I got it done. I love that it prints well and uses less ink that traditional cartridge printers. I am impatient, however, because it seems that I have to always go to Printers and Scanners in my computer, then to the printing preferences for this printer to check the settings, such as portrait or landscape, color, or size of paper, each time before I can print something. I am unable to do that from the print menu when I am trying to print something. This whole process takes extra time. Also, when I open a document on my computer, it seems to take extra time to connect with the printer before I can start creating my document. It's just extra time.

Great Printer!

Setup was easy and printing was great for 30 days then would not print as set up . Kept saying driver was unavailable and would only print on hp smart printing and only after several requests. What is smart printing? W hope it has nothing to do with requiring smart ink deliveries! Not happy at this time!

Happy then not.

I purchased this to replace a printer I was having trouble connecting to my WIFI. This connects but often makes 2 copies rather than 1, and the only way I can get it to reboot is to unplug it. It won't reboot by pressing the on/off button. It works but requires a bit of extra care to operate it.

Not as pleased as I expected

Initial set up went well but had some glitches. Printing from the computer or phone worked, but copying material via the copier only worked sporadically. Recently we had a power outage and no matter what I've tried - granted I'm not a techy, but I printed out the HP directions to reconnect it, followed them, and looked at Youtube videos all to no avail. It's very frustrating.

Good Start Turned Sour

I basically like printer. It’s responsive. Prints well. Came with 3 black ink, 1 of each color. Even when printing most docs , I’m not sure 3 years of ink is realistic. Printer preset to be in color. Have to keep changing and sometimes forget…using colors when not necessary. Also, I’m really disappointed that I can’t use a highlighter on printed copies because they smudge.

Nice printer…just can’t use highlighter

It only worked for awhile but now the driver is almost always unavailable. Also, when it does work, it only partially prints jobs %26 when you try to reprint, the driver is unavailable again. After spending hours online, trying to fix the issue, it still doesn't work.

It doesn't work
