Guinness Extra Import Stout Ale Beer, 11.2 fl. oz. bottle, 12 pk.

As deep as Guinness Extra Stout’s color is its taste. Crisp barley cuts through hops. A bite draws you in, bold flavors linger. Bitter marries sweet. A rich, refreshing taste. Brewed with skill. Built to last. A direct descendant of Guinness archival recipes, Guinness Extra Stout is based on a beer first brewed in 1821, when Arthur Guinness II set down precise instructions for brewing his Superior Porter. This beer has since become the precursor to every Guinness innovation you’ve ever enjoyed. Brewed at its St. James’s Gate brewery in Dublin, Guinness Extra Stout is crafted from finest-quality malt, hops and Irish barley. Sharp and crisp to the taste, it’s an entirely different experience from the smooth, creamy Guinness Draught and punchier Foreign Extra Stout, but the trademark Guinness flavors preside.

Aftertaste

If you're not a fan of black coffee hot or cold then you'll probably not like this one. I can drink this nice and cold and when when it ultimately gets warm (as all beverages do when not consumed quickly) I still can enjoy it.

Bold flavor

Rich, bold, chocolate note taste that you can not replicate with any other beer out there. There is only one Guinness. The perfect sip with every can and bottle.

Best day for a Guinness

influenster.com

This is my go to dark beer. I have been drinking Guinness for the last 25 or so years, thanks to my late husband to introducing me to "real beer." This has a slight chocolate taste, its smooth, but it is a heavier beer. I tend to get full after a couple of these. Guinness is perfect after a long day where you want to kick back and relax with a good beer.

Who doesn't like a Guinness

Really excellent and lower calorie option for a darker beer. Great for drinking on its own or adding to beef stew to enhance and deepen the flavor.

Delicious on its own, lower calorie dark beer

Great rich dark full body flavor.

It has this incredibly smooth and creamy texture that is unlike any other beer I've ever had, and that thick, beautiful foam on top just makes it feel like a real experience.

Rich and Dark

Guinness Extra Stout is a classic, carbonated beer with a high alcohol content and a more roasted flavour. In my opinion, it's a quality beer but there are other better more exceptional stouts.

Classic, carbonated beer

It's good. Not as good as a fresh Guinness. I've never really understood this Guinness version. It's just not as good as the OG. With all that said one of these are good when one from the tap isn't available.

Good but not the OG

Love this beer so much, its kind bitter but it is at good quality, it leaves an aftertaste and it can be set down in the fridge for a few days after opening. Its not too strong but it does crep up on you.

I recommend

This was my favorite beer. They switched from selling it imported from Ireland to this awful tasting swill brews in PA. Do not purchase this is is horrible now.

They have ruined Guinness Extra Stout
