This is the second Gold Medal Sno Kone machine I have owned; the are still made in the USA and are of the highest quality.  My first one was made in the 1970's, and this one is nearly identical (except for the plastic pan).  This machine works great, was packaged well, and looks awesome.  Don't waste your time or money on other brands;  Gold Medal is the BEST!

I own a small concession business and I was looking for a high quality machine at an affordable cost. I found this and upon receiving it I was impressed. It shaves ice very efficiently and quietly. The size is just right for a small trailer or tent set up. The only downfall is the hopper holds about 2lbs of ice so it has to be refilled frequently.

Just what I was looking for!

purchased for church events, kids love sno kones, easy to use and clean, quick at kicking out "sno". perfect for VBS, Fall Festival, etc. Really thrifty deal if you have ever rented one. Clear plastic seems a bit flimsy, comes with half door opening. Surprised at how quickly we went through syrup.

My Shav a Doo Sno Kone Machine came very fast and I love it. I am using it to give away free snowcones for awards for Perfect attendance, A A/B honor Roll, and other activities.

Best purchase Ever

This machine will do shaved ice, all you have to do is stop putting ice cubes in.  Use solid block if you choose loose ice its like snow cone.  Another tip.  Glad makes a 32 oz container with screw on lid.  These are perfect for freezing ice

This machine is used by our school for fundraising. It was shipped on time and works very good. The only problem was that the start button was broken when it arrived. I had to take it apart and repair it. The only reason I did not return it for another was that we needed it that day. Overall, it worked better than the one we had rented.

Does what it says or does

I love this machine. Definetly the real deal. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the door didn't come with it and I didn't know it at the time of purchase. It has a half way sliding door which is okay because the machine still works perfectly.
