This is my third one in 20 years. For the two of us this works the best. Shop at Sam’s for meat and package “our size” amounts to freeze. Then take out what you need

Packaging

I would be lost without my Food Saver, especially this time of the year when it’s time to put up corn and kale and spinach and other vegetables for the winter. Also, it’s great when things that you use all the time on sale to stock up and save money.

Can’t Do Without It

I have resisted buying one of these for so long, then got fed up with freezer burn on meat. It was so easy to set up and wrapped up the meat like magic

Easy Peasy

I bought this mostly to use with their kit to vacuum seal canning jars. I am a senior so it was a learning curve-had a lot of trouble getting the pints to seal for some reason buy no issues so far with the wide mouth jars. am using this to seal freeze dried foods.

This is a game changer. Before I bought the food saver I would end up with a lot of spoiled food because I couldn't eat it all in time. Since buying the foodsaver now I can freeze individual portions pop them in the freezer and then cook them a week later. I would recommend this for a large family or just 1-2 people. Best thing I e bought in years.

It's a must buy for a single person or family

I feel like the purchase price of the Food Saver is a great value and worth it. It pays for it self very quick when taking into consideration how much money is saved/not wasted when using the Food Saver to keep product from spoiling. The versatility of being able to use it to seal products that are ment to be refrigerated, frozen, and/or shelf stable goods. Then the fact that it can seal dry and/or wet stuff is the "icing on the cake".

Not only a Food Saver but also Money Saver

This is my second FoodSaver! Had the first one for over 8 yrs. Have used it to death-literally!
Can't calculate the amt of money it has saved my family, not just preserving food but buying
it on sale, vacuum sealing it & freezing for later use, esp meat and left overs. Can't manage our
kitchen or budget without it.

Just bought my second!!!

The things I like about this vacuum sealer: it's a nice compact design that doesn't take up a lot of space for storage, it has longevity when sealing all lot of bags, and it's a lot quieter than our other sealer from FoodSaver. I was hoping it would work faster, but it still took just as long. It fits the same bags that we already had from the previous machine. It's not as intuitive as I would have liked, but there are instructions so it's easy to figure out. I just couldn't plug it in and start without consulting the directions like I wanted to. So far I think it's a good product worth the price.

The machine didn’t seal completely about 3 bags. I’m going to give it another try and decide then what to do

Food Saver

Actually returned this item as it was not like the one we previously owned (which died after 8 years of constant use). This one does not have as good an accessory hose and left much to be desired. It will do the basic sealing very well, but using it with the accessory hose did not work very well. It did not seal complete. I We opted for the $249 model from another source as we use it multiple times a week.
