A five am wake-up for my wife's job necessitated a new alternative for my night owl spouse. My search began by sourcing eight dark roast coffees and comparing them.  The complex flavours and caffeine content enabled me to get her on the road for her commute with a satisfying kick. We are happy to consider it our new favourite.

I first discovered this coffee brand when I moved to St Pete, FL and bought it at the grocery store to try out. Next time I went, they were no longer carrying the whole beans so I started ordering on line. It is strong, smooth and perfectly flavored. It has become my favorite.

My favorite coffee

Simply put: tastes great, not bitter and not chocolate like (hard to find). Gives the boost of life you may need no matter the time of day. Happy brewing cheers!

I gotta be honest this is the best coffee! I tried DW  left for a different brand, came to DW. Tried still another brand, came back to DW. Needless to say I’m staying . Dark roast is soooo good but gotta admit Odin Force is my favorite 😍. The BEST coffee ever!!!!

Dark roast rocks

I am a coffee connoisseur. Since I was a young child, I've been drinking coffee. I have had innumerable different coffee brands, roasts, flavors, etc., over the many,  many years. I know quality when I taste it. I've tasted plenty of cheap, sub-par coffee brands. Death Wish (Dark Roast) is the absolute BEST that I have ever experienced in my life, nothing compares. Period. It is my daily ritual. Thank you Death Wish!! BIG THANK YOU for your high quality, delicious coffee and for not adding nasty Bioengineered (GMO) to your products. 
P.S. Please bring back the GINGERDEAD Coffee.

Simply the BEST

A good cup of coffee is a wonderful thing. I use the best coffee maker I have found, I use only distilled water, just a little more coffee than recommended,
I use only bamboo filters, last thing I do is put just a pinch of salt on the grounds. Best coffee I have ever had. Enjoy.

What's not to love about a phenomenal dark roast coffee, organic beans, and a great brand! The flavor of the coffee is so deep that you can't just have one cup.

Fantastic coffee all around

I have tried many beans, and this is by far my absolute favorite! Every time I try another bean, I instantly regret it, and run back! I will only buy by the 5lb bag now.  I travel with my own grinds now & will never buy out again!

Is it strong tasting, yes..high caffeine, no. When you cook beans longer caffeine is released, higher caffeine is in lighter roast. My wife likes full flavor vs caffeine so it's no stronger than other dark roast except Starbucks burns theirs so it's not a good comparison.

Strong flavor, nothing special.

Death Wish is a great coffee when it is fresh, yet it appears they have broken away from the norm and started using a lesser quality of coffee. It appears to have more oil in it when brewed. Any time I see oil residue floating on top of my brewed coffee. It is time to start looking for a better blend of beans. Doesn’t have the same quality as it was rated for. I have been drinking this since its start up and the quality has gone way down. Can’t get a decent bloom anymore.
