This rice cooker is amazing! There are so many settings
I have only done rice so far but that is why I bought it. It cooks the perfect rice. I have only used Cal Rose rice, but it is just the perfect texture. Far exceeds any rice cooker I have used, and we eat rice with most meals. The rice does not stick to the pan and it can stay steaming on warm for hours and stay steaming hot without burning to the pan!! So no crunchy rice on the bottom, no soggy rice, just perfect Japanese restaurant style rice every time! I was hesitant because it is a little spendy, but i trusted sams clubs options and I am so happy. I am gifting this to my in laws for christmas. Another nice feature is the button on the top is smooth. I have to add, it does take a little longer than a traditional rice cooker, but for the perfect results, I will wait

When it says it makes six cups, it means six of the little measuring cups that the device comes with.  Not 6 8oz cups.  More like six 5 oz cups.  Kinda disappointed with that.
