[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves playing with this toy! She can place the doll or dog inside and close it and open it to make them pop out over and over again. She loves the slide for the puppy to go down. She loved giving her pet a birthday party! The puppy can wear the hat and the candles go into the cake.
She also loved that Barbie's hair is color change! Our hands were warm enough to change the color to pink just by holding her. So, we were able to color-change without even using water! I really don't like how the back of the head gets fastened to the cardboard. We cut some of her hair trying to detach it from the packaging. I wish they wouldn't attach the doll heads that way.
The details on her shoes were wonderful! Overall, this toy is very engaging with lots of cute details!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a doll that pops, literally, out of a cake cup container. A fun feature is that once she pops out, so does a slide that her dog will go down simultaneously and she comes up. Only negative I can think of is that there are a lot of little pieces, yes, I get that's part of the fun but for us parents, that's not so fun haha. All in all, my daughter thoroughly loves her new Barbie and all that came with it and for me that's all that truly matters anyway.

It's popping with surprises

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rise and surprise Barbie is absolutely adorable. It includes a “gift box” that Barbie and her birthday puppy pop out of. There is a button on the side that releases the lid and the Barbie pops up while the dog goes down the slide. This doll is beautiful with color changing streaks in her hair and her pink birthday dress. This set also includes mystery bags full of accessories. My daughter really enjoyed opening this set. It seemed to be one surprise after the other when she opened it. She loved the happy birthday headband and the cake that came along with it. The puppy also has a birthday hat which made her happy. She has already played a whole lot with this Barbie. Her imagination is full of birthday party ideas because of this set and all the details it included. She isn't a super fan of using water in her Barbie dolls, but the color change feature is very cool. Overall I think this Barbie would make an excellent gift for any child - an especially great gift for a child celebrating their birthday.

Watching the Barbie rise was magical. The dog sliding down the ribbon plastic slide was so adorable. The accessories and outfit added another layer of excitement. It grabbed our attention from beginning to end. The doll was well made colorful and fun to play with. The only downfall like many reveal toys is that the wow effect is over once is open. But the doll and accessories are great for ongoing play.

My granddaughter, of course, loves opening the surprise packages. We can reset it and launch the puppy anywhere. Barbie can even go back down for easy storage. As always she can join our other Barbies for a fun time in our Barbie  world.
