We have had our Lennon sauna for 2 weeks now, and we have been in it almost every night!!!! My husband and I have an urban farm stay & farm experiences, and we wanted a sauna to not only help with our own health journey, but to also share with farm guests in the future. We loved the Lennon with the porch for its glass door so we could view the animals, the cedar looks and smells amazing, construction is solid! It took us about 10 hours to assemble, very clear instructions! The design is well thought out, and stunning in person. We've already had many farm guests asking about it, and commenting how nice it looks. We loved that the steel roof was included cause ours is outdoors. Has been heating up very quickly! Just overall impressed, and happy with our choice!

I have owned this sauna for around 3 weeks and I love it. There is really only one issue that you might have of which I found in a review before I purchased it. I live in the pacific northwest so we get some rain as you can imagine and the roof design has one major flaw. The roof is built with steel that like most steel roofing has high and low points. The design has black cedar trim pieces that get attached to the front and back on the ends of the steel. Doing the build the way they direct you will not allow the water to run off and it just becomes a lake on top. I am a general contractor so I knew how to fix this and what I did is working well. First if you buy this sauna you should set it on a pad that has a lower area in the back of the sauna. This will allow the water to run off the back once you make the change I am suggesting. I left the trim off of my build and purchased some black 2” by 2” angle flashing from Home Depot. I cut the flashing into 2-5” pieces, 10-4” pieces and then one longer piece in the center. I started with the 5” pieces on the lowest area and the layered the 5 -4” pieces around the corner and finished with the long piece so every piece goes underneath the roof tin and is over the top of the piece below it. The caulk between the roof tin and the flashing. It only took about 15 minutes to do and literally doesn’t look any different.

Excellent sauna works amazingly well.

We absolutely love our Backyard Discovery 4–6 person sauna! Compared to competitors we looked at, the wood in this sauna feels much thicker, more durable, and clearly built to last. I workout all the time and cannot wait to use this after my workouts. It heats up noticeably faster than other models we’ve seen, which means less waiting and more relaxing. Plus the bluetooth and adjustable light feature allows me to set the temperature and lights ahead of time. We already have a Backyard Discovery gazebo in our backyard, which is incredible. We continue to get rave reviews on the gazebo and now I know we will get the same on the sauna. The quality of this sauna lives up to the same high standard. If you want a well-constructed, efficient sauna that feels premium at every touchpoint, this is it!

Love Love Love!

Honestly impressed with this sauna. The wood is nice and thick, so it feels solid and well-built, not flimsy at all. You can tell it's made to last. What surprised me most is how fast it heats up — no long waiting around. It's become my favorite way to unwind after a long day. If you're looking for a durable outdoor sauna that gets hot quick, the Lennon from Backyard Discovery is a great choice.

Great sauna

I have looked forward to having a real sauna so that I could use it frequently and hopefully get the health benefits by using it with consistency. Having had the Lennon Cube delivered to me in mid August, I found a competent carpenter to help me assemble the unit which took just under seven hours, The electrical work was done in advance and I finally took my first sauna in late August. I have gotten into an every other day schedule and the unit is a delight. I look forward to years of use and benefit.

A personal retreat

I bought this a month ago and have used it consistently since then. Set up is very easy and they did a great job with the instructions. No missing parts, easy to follow, and the pre-drilled pilot holes were surprisingly accurate. As far as using it: Heats up very fast and maintains heat well; I love being able to use an app to turn it on from the house but the app (Tuya) is just awful. Perhaps they could use a different 3rd party app. Also the touchscreen interface that sits on the exterior is borderline useless. The touch is so non-responsive that its as if its broken. Also, you may want to put a cover over the screen so that it is not burned by the sun.
Overall, still 5 stars. But this company needs to hire an interface designer next time they attempt a control unit..

Very good unit. Only complaint is control interfac

We've had our Backyard Discovery 2-4 Lennon Cube Sauna up and running for a month now, and I honestly can't say enough good things about it. We set ours up in the garage since we have some extra space and don't park our cars in there. After taking some time to plan the layout, make sure we had proper ventilation, and map out the right distances from the walls, the actual setup was surprisingly easy. The instructions were really well written and straightforward to follow.
The build quality really impressed us, too. When our electrician came out to do the proper electrical hookup for it, he was totally blown away by the unit and how solid it is.
It's been running flawlessly, and I've been using it almost every day. It heats up great and holds its temperature like a champ. Honestly, for what you get, the value is just unbelievable—I almost feel a little guilty when my neighbor comes over and checks it out!
Thanks for making such a great product. Looking forward to getting years of use out of it.

Best purchase we've made in a while!

I am a Finn so I have been to many saunas in Finland, electric, wood burning, smoke and I have to say I am impressed with the Lennon sauna. Assembly was easy, instructions logical, everything in the design was great and it looks beautiful. I stained it outside to add to weather proofing and to better match it with my house. Yesterday was time to test it. I was surprised how fast the sauna heated. I set it to 80C and it was plenty to give nice and crispy "löyly". I feel like a real Finn again!

This truly is a sauna for Finns

Life changing! Was fairly easy to assemble and the video instruction was helpful. Works amazing, smells amazing, and the heater is fast! Gets up to the temp you put in quickly and accurately. Only a couple of complains. One, the bands to wrap around are difficult to tighten, I know there are better engineered bands out there but the ones they provide are doable just a pain. The control display is difficult to see in the daylight not a big deal. Lastly, I wish the seats were a tad bit higher the temperature difference is notable when your feet higher elevated. But I would and have recommended this sauna.

Great sauna for a first timer.

Just got my sauna installed. I have used is once and it heated up good but it was already pretty warm out. I don't think it would fit 6 people in the box maybe 4 people. I love the depth of the benches. I could lay down comfortably in top or bottom bench. The ladle is nice can't burn yourself because its so long. Love that

Good sauna so far

Ordered a Backyard Discovery 4 to 6 person sauna along with paid assembly from Sam's Club. I called the assembly contractor Eddie Perden to schedule an appointment and he told me to wait until the product was delivered.
I requested to be scheduled anyway because this was the day before the scheduled delivery.
Product was delivered as scheduled. I was not able to secure an appointment until after my husband %26 I called customer service %26 complained about the contractor. Contractor calls me; apologizes %26 schedules appointment. We do not hear from him when it's the day before the appointment. I reach out %26 he says he is not able to make it %26 reschedules us for the following day. Day of the appointment, we do not get any communication from the contractor. I text and request an ETA. I get one for 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, %26 then I get a message at 11:30 that he's delayed. Now our appointment time is 1:00 to 1:30 PM.
We have requested a new assembly contractor 2x because of this guy's lack of professionalism. Never again. We have paid for everything %26 we feel as if our time is not important. We delayed a trip due to this scheduling chaos %26 our boxes have been exposed to the weather for 2 weeks while waiting for Eddie to get his act together.See less
