We absolutely love our Backyard Discovery 4–6 person sauna! Compared to competitors we looked at, the wood in this sauna feels much thicker, more durable, and clearly built to last. I workout all the time and cannot wait to use this after my workouts. It heats up noticeably faster than other models we’ve seen, which means less waiting and more relaxing. Plus the bluetooth  and adjustable light feature allows me to set the temperature and lights ahead of time. We already have a Backyard Discovery gazebo in our backyard, which is incredible. We continue to get rave reviews on the gazebo and now I know we will get the same on the sauna.  The quality of this sauna lives up to the same high standard. If you want a well-constructed, efficient sauna that feels premium at every touchpoint, this is it!

Honestly impressed with this sauna. The wood is nice and thick, so it feels solid and well-built, not flimsy at all. You can tell it’s made to last. What surprised me most is how fast it heats up — no long waiting around. It’s become my favorite way to unwind after a long day. If you’re looking for a durable outdoor sauna that gets hot quick, the Lennon from Backyard Discovery is a great choice.

Great sauna

We have had our Lennon sauna for 2 weeks now, and we have been in it almost every night!!!! My husband and I have an urban farm stay & farm experiences, and we wanted a sauna to not only help with our own health journey, but to also share with farm guests in the future. We loved the Lennon with the porch for its glass door so we could view the animals, the cedar looks and smells amazing, construction is solid! It took us about 10 hours to assemble, very clear instructions! The design is well thought out, and stunning in person. We've already had many farm guests asking about it, and commenting how nice it looks. We loved that the steel roof was included cause ours is outdoors. Has been heating up very quickly! Just overall impressed, and happy with our choice!

Farm & Sauna=Udderly Relaxing

I have owned this sauna for around 3 weeks and I love it. There is really only one issue that you might have of which I found in a review before I purchased it. I live in the pacific northwest so we get some rain as you can imagine and the roof design has one major flaw. The roof is built with steel that like most steel roofing has high and low points. The design has black cedar trim pieces that get attached to the front and back on the ends of the steel. Doing the build the way they direct you will not allow the water to run off and it just becomes a lake on top. I am a general contractor so I knew how to fix this and what I did is working well. First if you buy this sauna you should set it on a pad that has a lower area in the back of the sauna. This will allow the water to run off the back once you make the change I am suggesting. I left the trim off of my build and purchased some black 2” by 2” angle flashing from Home Depot. I cut the flashing into 2-5” pieces, 10-4” pieces and then one longer piece in the center. I started with the 5” pieces on the lowest area and the layered the 5 -4” pieces around the corner and finished with the long piece so every piece goes underneath the roof tin and is over the top of the piece below it. The caulk between the roof tin and the flashing. It only took about 15 minutes to do and literally doesn’t look any different.

Excellent sauna works amazingly well.

I've had this sauna up and running for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. I decided to build it myself and had it completed in a little over 10 hours. It would have definitely went quicker with 2 people but it really wasn't bad at all and the instructions on the app are easy to follow. The only negative I've found was the heater would trip the overheat switch if I turned it on to heat to 194 but since switching to heating up to 176 and then increasing heat from there it has helped eliminating it overheating on the initial warmup. I would highly recommend this product as well as Backyard Discovery

Game changer

We ordered this sauna for our Airbnb property and it has been great so far! The setup took 12ish hours with two people. The instructions were helpful. I would recommend having a rope for putting it together. We didn't and it made it tricky to get everything aligned up top. The sauna heats up very quickly and we are happy with the purchase!

Good instructions - heats up quickly!

I am a Finn so I have been to many saunas in Finland, electric, wood burning, smoke and I have to say I am impressed with the Lennon sauna. Assembly was easy, instructions logical, everything in the design was great and it looks beautiful. I stained it outside to add to weather proofing and to better match it with my house. Yesterday was time to test it. I was surprised how fast the sauna heated. I set it to 80C and it was plenty to give nice and crispy "löyly". I feel like a real Finn again!

This truly is a sauna for Finns

Life changing! Was fairly easy to assemble and the video instruction was helpful. Works amazing, smells amazing, and the heater is fast! Gets up to the temp you put in quickly and accurately. Only a couple of complains. One, the bands to wrap around are difficult to tighten, I know there are better engineered bands out there but the ones they provide are doable just a pain. The control display is difficult to see in the daylight not a big deal. Lastly, I wish the seats were a tad bit higher the temperature difference is notable when your feet higher elevated. But I would and have recommended this sauna.

Great sauna for a first timer.

When choosing between a barrel or a cube sauna, I opted for the cube because the two-tiered bench seating really appealed to me. It is a completely different level of heat on the higher bench! Also, having recently burned my arm on the heater in a small barrel sauna, I wanted to make sure that there was some distance from the heater if we chose to fit a few people in there. You really easily could fit up to 6 adults in there, but two people with each person having an entire bench to lay on is a peak spa experience. 
I assembled the sauna myself which took several days at a few hours at a time. I am a contractor, so I have tools that made the process straightforward. I personally found the assembly difficulty level low, but long. The product is shipped in several boxes which are not filled in any kind of chronological order. Each piece or bag of hardware has a numerical code on it. The instructions state to lay out all of the material in order to make it easier to assemble- but even doing so, much of the assembly time is spent trying to identify each part and making sure its the correct one. Again- not difficult if you are familiar with assembling things, but tedious.

The heat output is insane! I typically set it to 160/170 and could not imagine going above that- though you certainly can. 
As others have stated, the wifi connectivity/ Tuya control app are not the best. The touchscreen control panel on the unit is also pretty bad. I almost completely avoid using the control panel and use the app to turn it on, but if you are not >10ft away from it, it usually has a connection error. To me, it's not a super big deal, but it can get irritating. This is the only reason for 4/5 stars.

It has only been a few weeks and we are using it almost every day. It heats up very quickly, and I'm anxious to see how it performs in the winter months.

Hot! Hot! Hot!

Very poorly built sauna. The heater trips every time. I have to reset it. The one bench with no back rest sits at the bottom instead of half way up. Three internet connection doesn't work. The timer button on the LCD screen is broken. If it rains, the door warps soo bad that it doesn't fully close. No matter how many times I call support, and rearrange the rocks it still trips.

Terrible quality
